Djerdap National Park

Absolutely stunning views over the Danube! The road trip was easy and smooth following GPS navigation. It was really cool to look at the water border between Serbia and Romania. Hiking is easy even for novice travelers.

An amazing experience on the serbian side of Danube! An one day trip with my family recharging with a good energy! The ferryboat, the Tumane Monestery, the Golubac fortification and the Lepenac restaurant!

Still untouched by the large number of tourists.
Be sure to go on a cruise. You will see Trajan's T. You will see the huge rock of Emperor Trajan with his face. You must visit fortress in Golubac place.

It has amazing scenery and the road is very good, new asphalt, almost no traffic. It's heaven for motorbike riders.

Great sightseeing tour, we took a hiking trip 8km long to "Ploče" and back. Perfect for relaxation, medium hard path. Nature is beautiful!

One of the most beautiful places in Serbia, the beautiful nature of the mountain Miroc, the cave Buronov abyss, and traces of the Roman Empire. very cheap and very good service in restaurants.my warm recommendation!

Here you can find most wide and most narrow flow of Danube. Nature is amaizing. Also there is a lot of historical spots. Don’t miss boat trip from Tekija.

If you visit Serbia this site is must see, route through Djerdap . National park is one of the best in north-east part of Serbia. Rich of all type of vegetation, beautiful parts of forests, fresh air, place for hiking.

Located on the Danube river where is border with Romania. The main feature of the national park is the Djerdap Gorge, known as the Iron Gate. The gorge is actually river vally formed of the three gorges: Gornja klisura, Gospodjin vir i Veliki i Mali kazan who are separated by ravines. The park has the greatest biodiversity within one ecosystem.

This place. Everytime i going through the Djerdap Nacional Park, or Dunavska Magistrala road, i am speechless. This nature, this might river Danube. Here is the greatest, and widest. Its like u are driving by the sea, not river. Aprox 150km u drive next to river and its a place u should come and visit asap.

Booking a boat tour is a must, there is plenty to see, if you are foreigner check twice if a boat guide is speaking english.

Not so hidden gem, place that really allow you to experience, great culture, history, sports .. food is great, people on fortress are really friendly, it miss some content but again you can enjoy great weekend
