Special Hospital for Aesthetic, Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery of Diona

I have had polio since I was a young child. My left leg had lost most of the muscle and wouldn’t grow. I started investigating fat grafting into my leg and was told that it was not possible as my leg muscle was too skinny. After much research I stumbled upon Dr Asanin’s surgery in Serbia. I’m from London so contacted her to see if it was possible. Dr Asanin was so encouraging that it was possible to have fat grafted onto my leg. I went to see her and she told me that as long as I put weight on then the fat could be taken from unwanted areas and put into my leg. The team at Diona are wonderful. As I said I’m from London and they spoke good English, they were kind and treated me like family. I’m so impressed my the surgery and my time spent at Diona was a pleasure. I cannot believe that the surgery was possible and now both of my legs are the same size. The biggest miracle is the the way the fat was placed into the leg is making the leg muscle grow for the first time I can remember. I encourage anyone to go to this surgery if you’re travelling from another country. It truly is an amazing place and Dr Asanin is fantastic and extremely skilled.
