An interesting visit in the history of Transylvania. The ticket price is really low. I recommend the visit if you are passing through the area.

This not just a memorial house - it is an entire complex reuniting culture, religion and education through it's small library, church and museum buildings. The main central building is the memorial house of Avram Iancu a true lover of the romanian people, who fought and organized battles for the liberation of people under the Hungarian occupation. Nowadays you can admire the old ways a house was organized, the museum that gathers old traditional instruments and clothing that the local people used to work their land, dress themselves or use inside their homes. This place is truly a journey into the past and you should check it out if you are nearby.

An interesting museum about a Romanian national hero, that helped the villagers of those times (around 1848) to become more independent and strong. Unfortunately, the story of Avram Iancu does not end well, as he dies poor and forgotten. The positive part is that history has not forgotten him. The museum could be more interactive and offer more information, in a more visual way. Nevertheless, it is worth paying a visit if you are in the area.
