Taverna Racilor Snagov

The food was great, ordered (2), 4.5kg platters and a few bottles of wine. The service was fantastically great, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was brilliant over looking the lake of snagov and that it self is a magical sight.

However we did go during the week (late dinner) which possibly kept the business to a minimum.

However I would like to suggest to the owner that having such a place on the waters edge, a complimentary mosquito spray or odour burner would have been a sweet touch.

All in all, was a pleasure

Great food and great service all around. We ordered the fish platter for four people as we were two couples. There was still left overs!! Prices are reasonable compared to other European countries! Plenty of parking! Right next to the lake! Caveat though there are mosquitoes in the summer so go prepared!!

The food was good hubby baby and I enjoyed it very much. When we went there weren't so many people so the waiting time for us was reasonable for what we ordered. Loved the wine. The fact they have baby chairs earns points for us. Service was kind, although typical romanian waiting times, I guess, no offense, just reality. Do I recommend it? Yes, but only on no busy times as I can not imagine what the waiting times would be on a busy day. Overall for us we were happy with our visit here. The view is worth it also.

I like a lot the atmosphere, is very pleasant to stay, enjoy the meal and a beautiful view of the Snagov lake with a cocktail. It can be a little bit pricey.
