Restaurant Perla

This is such a nice restaurant in Deva city. It is located at the bottom of the hill with fortress . They have such a great, different menu, lot of choices for different dishes.
We took duck breast with smashed potatoes in orange sauce and chicken with Owen baked potato. All tasty and so nicely served on plate. Service is great, all waiters were super nice and willing to help with food advice. Prices are surprisingly low for such a nice restaurant and food they serve.
I would definitely recommend this place.

Splendid location at the base of the hill housing the Citadel, right near the citadel park. There's a large terrace and multiple indoor seating areas, making this place suitable for events as well.

The indoors is very clean and spacious. The tables are far enough from each other to allow for comfortable seating. The tables are quite large, with most seating up to 6-8 people.

Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. She was quick at our table with the drinks order. The food order was also straightforward. The menu is in Romanian and English.

The food was delicious and the portions are really big. The prices are alright when you consider the size of the dishes. It's not overpriced at all.

I didn’t expect such high quality food in Deva.
We ordered 5 main dishes.
Chicked was tender and very tasty. Purée was creamy and perfect fit to the chicken.
Pasta carbonara was also very good.
Pork ribs were a great dish with great flavors. Relatively big.
The fish was very fresh, and the filet was very juicy and tender.
Don’t miss the papanasi. It is very special.
Total bill 396 ron including tip. (5 main courses and one desert + 4 water)
Great service, nice music that gives a great atmosphere.
There is plenty of parking downstairs.

TLDR: Great food at good/affordable prices
After you visit the Deva citadel and you need a place to eat you don't need to go to far since you have the Perla restaurant. They have tasty 👀 catching food at some great affordable prices. You will definitely like the presentation of the food. Staff was nice and prompt.

Amazing terrace, right next to the Deva citadel, delicious food and a nice vibe. Impeccable service, Paul was very helpful, kind and really fast. It can be seen that he has experience, he enjoys what he does and he wants his customers to have a good time there. We will definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our evening out and that mostly thanks to our waiter Paul that has shown professional skills and dedication. We couldn´t have asked for more on the service side. The food was good but can be improved. Good music :)

Featured in the picture is the 'Platoul Boieresc' - A Lords Platter. This is for two and includes chese, scallions, olives, rustic potatoes, homey glazed pork ribs, fried thickly cut ham with rind and the finest pork cut grilled.

They are quite busy, which is a good sign. They also serve a wide selection of refreshments, beers, wines and spirits. The bar can prepare cocktails.

This restaurant is priced above average, but the food is excellent as is the service. The location close to a park and at the bottom of the Deva Fortress, makes this restaurant on of the highly sought after in the City of Deva.

The food was tasty, the portions were pretty big.
The food came pretty fast, given the fact that we were a group of 11 persons.

A very nice surprise. We've had grilled beef - one with green pepper sauce and mashed potatoes with almond and one with caramelized goat cheese and mushrooms. Absolutely amazing. This meal enough has been worth the trip to Deva.

Superb place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner next to central parc and close to the chairlift. Beautiful terrace full of natural flowers . It has free parking place . Food is great excelent options. Prices are more than ok. Pleasant service. Staff is very helpful and kind. We had a great afternoon there. Thank you for everything. We'll be back !

Good choice of European cuisine dishes. Wide variety of local wines.

We love the atmosphere, the music is soothing and excellent. The service, as well. We had pizza and it was delicious and fresh. The drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic, were both good.
