Sixt Rent a Car - Bucharest Airport

This was a pleasant experience. They were super fast at giving us a car. Make sure you have an international driving permit. They then shuttled us to the parking lot and gave us the car. We got a newer model car that worked great. We were able to drive to Braşov and back after a couple days and only spent about $35 on gas. This place was awesome with no problems at all. The staff was very helpful and spoke good English

Very easy check-in (I had quick pass, and worked perfectly). So great marks for that. The lot is off-airport grounds, so a short shuttle ride. Shuttle came quickly (on demand) and picking up the car was very quick and easy. Everyone, from the counter to the shuttle to the attendant in the lot were super nice and friendly and helpful.

Based on that experience, I'd recommend it.

Rented a car and when turning it in I was kind of in a hurry to catch my flight. Stefan (employee at Sixt) showed great effort to have a speedy (but accurate) check out process and expedited my shuttle transport to the airport. Very excellent service, would definitely rent a car here again!

Excellent service, located at -2 floor, near the supermarket.
I ordered car a month before arrival.
We got upgrade to new Dacia Daster (2500 km), very clean.
After you got the docs, you need to wait for a shuttle to the car ( it took so long - around 30 minutes, till it arrived).
When we arrived, the car wait for us !
During the vacation, we had no trouble with the car, fast returning also.
Fully recomanded.

We were 2 families and rented 2 large cars months in advance with full coverage , we ordered 2 Opel Astra Wagon , one of the cars was upgraded to Ford Mondeo 7 seats , the cars were clean and in good shape , the only problem was the child seats we ordered every seat we were offered wasn't suitable for our kids age and weight one of the employees yelled at us because we didn't agree to endanger our kids. We were in a take it or leave it situation and had to find a creative solution by ourselves, at return everything went fast , no special issues

Everything was ready as we landed. Quick ride to the car with Sixt minivan was arranged from terminal. Car was nice, in good condition and clean. It was missing windshield liquid, but otherwise spotless. Return was also super quick and smooth. I will definitely recommend.

I have rented a car from this company, i recieved a new one, only 12k km, kept it for 6 days, returned it at the airport parking in the middle of the night, and the shuttle was there for me. Short waiting time, so perfect!

I strongly recommend. Friendly service. We had not taken an extra insurance and probably someone had made a, rather big, dent in the car, probably on a parking. They noticed it but did not make a case out of it and we did not have to go through a lot of paperwork. An exceptional service. Collecting and returning the car also went very smoothly and the car was new. I will always rent with them when in Romania.

The process was easy. At the airport, I was greeted by a very respectful and professional young man. It was a bit of a wait to collect the car, but I wasn't in a hurry.
I have been offered a brand-new Dacia Logan, only 17km. I was impressed. The return process was easy too.
The only downside for me is getting my deposit back. The young girl on the phone said that as stipulated in the terms and conditions, it takes up to 30 days! I missed that detail, and I am not happy as I have a very high-interest credit card and am not happy to pay 40% interest. They can do better and release this deposit earlier. I rented in other countries, and the deposit has always been returned promptly.

Have been using Sixt mostly in the UK, great service overall, and this branch in Bucharest does not disappoint either.
Given the not yet 100% paperless booking process, it’s still been quick to get on the road once landed.
Professional staff, Cristian had the car de-misted, warm and ready to go ahead of pick up, plus, the music selection in his extremely clean and tidy shuttle van was one to put a smile on my face at 03:00 in the morning. Thank you

Althought the Rental Center in Constanta does not appear yet on GMaps, just want to say that the team there does a great job. Rented 2 cars on Easter Holiday, helped me on a very short term request and made the reservation process quite easy. Excellent job Sixt Constanta. You gained a new customer that for sure will return.

Front line office staff were very professional in dealing with customers explaining everything in details however, the transportation driver behaviour was somewhat strange wouldn't assists in luggage lifting and if you ask a simple straightforward question his answers just wait wait . This could be a reason for me not to rent again from sixt at Bucharest airport.

Cipriani is the best - went above and beyond to help us! And the rest OTP Sixt team is outstanding! This is the first time I’ve ever had such a positive rental car experience that I felt it warranted a review, but this Sixt is just simply phenomenal!

Smooth pickup, everyone was very nice and polite. The car that we've got is clean and in great condition. Just hoping that the drop off will be as straightforward as the pick up!

The guys were super helpful. Our booked car turned to be quite small for our luggage and 3 children. I thought that specific car was bigger than actually is. There were super and exchanged our car to a more family sized car. They even helped us packing in and of corse all these at 1 AM at night since our plane arrived quite late. So thumbs up and thanks guys!
