Restaurant Rhein Azuga

Very good food, and the place is warm with a homey feel to it. There are pictures with the romanian Royal family, and lots of interesting decorative items. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. The restaurant is surrounded by nature, and has a lovely outdoors terrace.

We simply love it here. The food is always good, people are always friendly and we enjoy the quiet atmosphere.

Very welcoming! We arrived for a hot drink, knowing that we had very little time before our train. We were very well received, they offered us to taste the local product and in addition, the hot chocolate was the best I have ever had in Romania (and even in other countries). We will be back to try the food!

I like this place who wanna come to azuga for 🎿 ski this place around there and they have nice place and food. That place looking home when you go there you feel you have big family and they sit some of some table other of another table we was like here

This place was an unexpected gem! There’s a winery connected to the restaurant so we had sparkling wine and regular wine from there and it was excellent. We would have purchased several bottles to bring home but we didn’t have a checked bag. The waiter who served us was also the manager and he was EXCELLENT, extremely friendly and professional and gave us a lot of tips and tricks for mountain biking and skiing in Romania. The service made us feel as though we were at a 5 star resort restaurant but the cost was extremely affordable. The food was delicious (traditional romanian cuisine) and ordering dessert is a must!! We found this place by accident but we will for sure be seeking it out the next time we return to Romania, ideally for some summer mountain biking and wine :)

Top notch food. I chose traditional Romanian dishes, and they were excellent … went down a treat with their own brut sparkling wine.

Great food, great location and one of the best ambiance in a restaurant in the Valea Prahovei area. Rhein is the champagne supplier of the Romanian Royal House. The staff is very friendly and prices are very acceptable for such an experience.

Comment just for the restaurant. Love it. Probably best value for money in Prahova Valley. Classic restaurant with regal history. No plating but food was always good, decent prices and better than other top ranking restaurant in Sinaia or Busteni. I was driving most of the times and couldn’t enjoy wine pairing, but you can have any Cramele Hallewood wine at supermarket price and they also serve it by glass.

The food was very good and also the service. We had turkey with gorgonzola souce and it was delicious. Also a must try is the house rose prosecco. There is also a wine shop where you can buy it.

We stopped by for a breakfast. We found the place very quiet, clean and well organised. The bufet breakfast had a good choice of food and was very good food for the money we have paid.

Great service. The waitresses were very kind. Great food and wine. The best roe salad I have ever eaten.
