This place is really beautiful. It's the centre part of timisoara and its happening area.. you could see many shops here around the centre ... The church is beautiful and it's for Romanian people but all other people also can enter .. there is a tower in the centre which gives you top view ❤

Lots of greenery and significant buildings: a theater, a fountain, a she-wolf statue with Romulus and Remus, and the Romanian Orthodox Cathedral in the background.

I absolutely love this square.
After coming here from Belgrade for a day, this place is vast, clean, well maintained, and in general very fine looking.

The architecture is well persevered, and there are reconstructions under work, so i hope it looks even better in the future.

The alley is perfect for a walk and we had no issues with the stroller.

The Victory Square Piața Victoriei 🇷🇴 known until 1990 as the Opera Square is the central square of Timişoara 🇷🇴. The square hosts the buildings of some important institutions such as the National Theater and Opera, the Orthodox Cathedral, Timiș, Capitol and Studio cinemas, the Museum of Banat, several art galleries as well as many shops and sidewalk cafes.

Victory Square (Piata Victoriei) is the central square of Timisoara, Romania. It is a popular tourist destination and a place for locals to relax and socialize. The square is surrounded by many important buildings, including the Timisoara Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, the Timisoara Opera House, and the Timisoara City Hall.
Is a beautiful and vibrant place to visit. There is always something to see and do, whether it's people-watching, visiting one of the many museums or art galleries, or enjoying a meal or drink at one of the many restaurants.

We really enjoyed walking around this area and relaxing with the little one running around and feeding the birds.

💜Victory Square (Piața Victoriei) in Timișoara, Romania, is a significant public space known for its historical importance. It was a central site during the Romanian Revolution of 1989, marking the city's fight for freedom from communist rule. Today, the square is a hub of cultural events and celebrations, reflecting the city's resilience and spirit. It also hosts various monuments and landmarks, making it a notable destination for both locals and tourists. Nice place... We love it🫶

Nice, spaceous and clean square in hearth of Timisoara. Plenty of restaurants around and main reason we visited city center.

Temporary cultural setup: 4 story high scaffolding with a big selection of plants, flowers and trees, which gives you a great view of Timisoara's downtown area.
There's no entry fee, but it's limited to 50 people at once, which they check by giving out markers - that you have to return upon finishing the tour.

Just visit it. The large square area has some historical buildings recently restored, and now they look like new.
Be careful at weekends, because it is very crowded. Families and tourists enjoy their time walking around or consuming coffee or ice cream.
The nature/garden has beautiful green grass and well cared flowers.
Enjoy!

A nice square, make sure you visit the Pepiniera tower, very worthwhile! 12-8pm, free entry. 1306 plants and an impressive temporary structure 🪴🌿

Wonderful way to appreciate the diversity of buildings around Victoria Square (such as the Polytechnic Uni) all the way to the Orthodox Cathedral and even the beautiful umbrellas above Strada Alba Iulia

Lovely Timisoara 2023 👏 Also great memories of the Xmas markets here 🎄🎅

I used to come to Timisoara from time to time due to my job and it's my favorite place. Mainly when I come back from work late and I don't know where to have dinner at late hours. The kitchen is open till 23h.
Also on the weekend it's a very good option to choose. Doesn't matter if it's lunch or dinner. And prices are worth. I highly recommend it.
