Park of the Infinite Column

Targu Jiu would be just another boring city if it would not be for Brancusi who left so many treasures. A must see for anyone visiting Romania.

Nice park, you should come and see the Endless Column. Nice masterpiece of our great world class sculptor, Constatin Brâncuși. Along with the other two, The Kiss Gate and the Silence Table, which are situated in the Central Park of Tg-Jiu. 10+!

Quiet , clean place ...good for meditate on the purpose of life, art and humanity...

Great place! Now I know it's about culture, but for me is more than that. It regenerates your energy, your karma. Best place for jogging. Even though my feet are burning, I just love to keep on running and watch it. It's mesmerizing.

Very clean and quiet park.

A wonderful place. Of course, the most important attraction is the art masterpieces of Brancusi, the Endless Column, which is unique and stunning. A good spot for taking pictures. There are small alleys good for walking and enjoy a beautiful day in nature.

Not very impressive sculpture. Still nice to look at it and brainstorm how it was crafted. Big park around it. A few married/engaged couples had a photo sesion in the park. Free parking near the park. The alley is made of fine grained stones, the kind that sticks to your shoe bottom.

Wonderful day to be in such a nice city and observe the monuments. I really loved it. It's better in summer, spring and fall, because of the good and warm weather!

The best

A large, nicely kept park around my favourite Brancusi sculpture in Tg Jiu. Enter from the east and walk towards the west, to the monument. It will truly look infinite against the clouds.

Brancusi reached the high point of his career by creating the monumental Ensemble from Targu Jiu, Romania, which constitutes a tribute to the Romanian soldiers who died in the First World War. The gate of the kiss, the table of silence and the endless column are the most important pieces which compose the ensemble.

Nice place to enajoy for a few minutes and take some pictures. The Column is impressive, the park is nice, but without many "away from the sun" places.

It's an interesting park because you can see two of Constantin Brancusi sculptures - the table of silence and the kissing gate. You should visit if you are nearby

The column of the infinite is one of Constantin Brancusi's masterpieces, which you can see in the 'Targul Jiu' city.
Also called the 'Endless Column', it signifies the connection between earth and heaven, 'the transition from our world to the world beyond (a sacred, infinite world).'

A masterpiece made by the founder of abstract modern sculpture founder, Contantin Brâncuşi, which created a place with cosmic energy concentration.
