I had the pleasure of dining at The Wok in Sibiu, an Asian restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance. The food was exceptional, showcasing the vibrant flavors and authentic recipes of Asian cuisine.

One dish that truly stole the show was the pistachio cake. It was an absolute delight! The moist and fluffy texture combined with the rich pistachio flavor was simply irresistible. Each bite was a heavenly experience, leaving me craving for more.

Aside from the outstanding pistachio cake, every dish we tried was impeccably prepared and bursting with freshness. The attention to detail in presentation and taste was evident, reflecting the skill and dedication of the chefs.

Overall, I cannot recommend The Wok highly enough. Whether you're a fan of Asian cuisine or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit. Don't miss out on the pistachio cake—it's a true masterpiece!

We went there a little bit after lunch time. The restaurant was not crowded and the staff was very friendly with us while we were thinking where to sit. We ordered some Thai spicy chicken wings in sweet and spicy sauce for which we don’t have a picture as we ate them before thinking 😂 For the mai course we had Malaysian curry and Black pepper beef, see pics. While it’s not in the city center, it’s worth the walk there. Totally recommend.

The best Thai food I ate in Romania. You can feel the authentic taste of their dishes. I highly recommend. Hugs from Norway I will be back with love.

I must say I had a delightful dining experience not only due to the distinctly flavorful Chicken Singapore but also due to the extremely polite and friendly staff as well as the particularly pleasant atmosphere

First time at The Wok, left a great impression. The food was delicious and tastes genuine. Creamy Tom Kha Gai and fiery black pepper beef with noodles. Very friendly staff and food cooked as fresh as it gets. Definitively reccomend and will be back there for sure.

Fantastic. Just what I was hoping for. Edamame was great, pad thai even better! I asked for it to be a little spicier than normal and they got it perfect. Friendly, cozy, and comfortable. I'm definitely coming back

We were impressed by how delicious the food was! Love the Singapore noodles, Tom kha soup, and fried rice. All super hot and fresh with great authentic flavor. We have been craving Asian food while traveling the last couple months in Eastern Europe and this was one of the better spots we have come across. Nice seating areas inside that can accommodate groups for 2 to 8 and also 4 tables outside. Definitely recommend!

The Pad Thai was very decent , of the slightly "wetter" texture with enough fish sauce oomph and crunch from the peanut flakes and spring onion/bean sprouts. Though no sliced chilli available, the sauce was sufficient to give it an extra kick if required.

Chef said he kept it as original as he could without "modifying" the recipe to fit 'local' tastes, which I applaud.

Next time will try other dishes, since me this homesick Asian boy is based in Sibiu for some time 😊

So I walk from old town for 45mins to THE WOK...and it was under renovation. My crest fallen face was immediately revived by the kind gesture of the owner to cook and sit me outside on the patio! Table for 1! I had the nasi goreng and cashew chicken... pretty authentic... just the right about Wok Hei.. you know that breath of the iron frying pot. Highly recommend

Food was great, very tasty and with diverse flavours. It came quite fast, and the personnel is very friendly and helpful.

The place we were staying at was near "The Wok" so we decided to give it a try. The dishes are wonderful, and pretty authentic. Everything we tasted was super tasty. One small tip: usully when Asian restaurants put 3 chillies next to a menu item, you expect your mouth to be on fire, which wasn't the case here. So don't hesitate to spice up the dishes to reflect that, but otherwise, amazing food and incredibly friendly staff

This is one of the best surprises for me. I truly did not expect such good taste, presentation and portion sizes. The taste is the best part yet, so so close to the real authentic taste. The soups and the curries are the best in town, nowhere else do they even come close. Excellent overall, we will definitely return for more!

Simply AMAZING food!! Perfect for people who love Asian food or Asian people missing their cuisine n the spices. The chef is wonderful n friendly will tailor the spice level to your liking. N the staff is very friendly. As an Indian foodie in Romania, the meal I had remind me of home. Simply excellent food!

The tom yum was exquisite, full of flavors and the combination of the most interesting spices. The portions were generous and the ambience was very pleasant! Definitely recommend

Very good wok restaurant, tried a few in Sibiu and this one is the best so far. Good quality stir-fry food, close to the authentic but adjusted for spiciness to local preferences (their spiciest dish is mild at best).

The food was sooo good! I would say this is the best asian food I’ve tried in Romania.
