Restaurant El Gringo

As a native Californian, I was surprised to find a Mexican restaurant in Romania and in the closest big city to my home Sibiu. Ok, it's not Guadalajara but I enjoy the Romanian-Mexican fusion. And the playground is fun for our daughter.

Very nice Bistro/Restaurant since the late 90s, great pizza and other Food, parking space in rear and the front of the restaurant. Very nice ambient, wall painting by an Bavarian artist, friend of the original owner. Very nice inside and plenty of space outside on the patio/ terrace.

Good value for money. Great food, big portions and good prices.

Love the Tigaie Picanta dish. Very friendly personnel.

To be honest, I think it's the best place to eat. The food looks and taste very good. Some of them are served in a old fashion metal plates. I should take some pictures next time, you will understand better what I am talking about. 😁

We spent a really good time in the restaurant, but unluckily the waitress didnt speak English, so it was complicated to order food. However the dinner was quite tasty, so in total we left the place satisfied.

First time in town. I Wanted to eat something and I went in. Lovely ambient, very kind staff. I have ordered traditional food. The taste cannot be described. Was very good. The pancakes are delicious.

De finely you should try the tacos and burrito. Such big portions. Burrito is a pretty big one so I recommend you not to order anything else. You are going to struggle finishing that one. Stunning flavors and you'll enjoy every bite. Pretty much one of the best Mexican food restaurant's I know

Very nice restaurant, a good alternative to the food court from the nearby mall! The Fajitas, burrito are awesome!!!!Try also the boiled Papanasi!Great value for the money you pay!

Great schnitzel, fast service, good price

Great food and great service all at very decent prices. Very clean and tidy. Very crowded on Saturday evenings. One of the only 24/7 restaurants/bars in Sibiu. I highly recommend it.

Great food. Great service. I definately recommend. Didn't find any serious problems. It's also somewhat cheaper than other similar restaurants.

If in need of some cooked food (worth the wait 👍😉) rather then fast-food. The place to be. Great service and price friendly.

If you want to eat in Sibiu this is the place to go.It has delicious Mexican food , awesome music , table serving is fast and it's a great place for groups.
