Cheile Turzii

If you enter from the Est side there is good beautiful hiking trail that takes you all around just follow the red DOT after you cross the first bridge. This hiking trail takes you firts upside to see the Cheile Turzii than on the otherside you come inside of the Chei. Whach out because the rocks are very slippery when it rains. The hike it takes around 3-4 hours but offcours that depends on your condition. Have fun!!

Great place to stay in the middle of the travel for a relaxing break. At least for us.

You can take a path to the top and get back by going along the canyon’s path. Great views and super pleasant walk.

Really enjoyed this park. Beautiful scenery. Can be difficult to know what trail you're on. We ended up on 7km one, indicated it should take 4 hours but it took us two and a half hours, stopping occasionally to take in the views. Parts were steep and difficult but manageable. I'd suggest you are moderately fit to enjoy it. The trail was marked with a red circle surrounded by a white circle.

One of the most beautiful and attractive natural landscape of Cluj county. I have been many times and always impressed.

It’s a really beautiful spot. Half of the time you walk in shade, so this mini tour/hike can be done even when it’s a really warm day (we walk through the Gorge in 28 degrees Celsius around noon). It took us 3 hours from our parked car to reach the other end, rest a little and go back to the car. Some areas are more narrow and you have to wait a little for others (coming from the other direction) to pass next to you.

Stunning views at the top with many activities, food trucks and stalls. Down the bottom there are more. A beautiful bridge over the river is a short walk from the bottom, furthest car park. Wear sporty clothes and shoes if you’re wanting to spend more time and do the hikes.

one of the best places in Romania. view from top of the rock is priceless and walk through the woods is breathtaking and soo relaxing. highly recommended and don't missed this.

Lovely walk in a beautiful area just outside Turda. We've done many like this in many countries but this was one of the most rural, with so much nature around us.
Free parking and a few cafes and restaurants at the start.
Lots of different walks to do from 2-6 hours! One is even longer if you're up for it!

Already visited twice, and I will definitely come the 3rd time, that's how much I love this place.
Besides the beautiful nature, the food is delicious. After you do the walking thru the Keys, you can enjoy a good coffee and something to eat.

Beautiful canyon in Rumania. Worth seeing! You can easily drive there by car and make some beautiful photos.

I visited Cheile Turzii, and I was amazed by its beauty and impressive nature.

The place offers various hiking routes of different difficulty levels, and I decided to choose the path leading to the panoramic viewpoint (46.56449681537717, 23.67642999099534) as I had limited time, and it was the perfect route for a walk with children.

The route, approximately 3.5 km long, takes you through forests, bridges, and streams, adding pleasant natural elements to the journey. The difficulty of the route was easy, allowing us to enjoy the surrounding environment and beautiful views of the cliffs.

Cheile Turzii has spots where you can engage in rock climbing, either professionally or with an instructor. This provides a unique opportunity for adventure enthusiasts to test their skills and admire the breathtaking views of the cliffs.

There is also a cafe at the parking area (which is paid), where you can grab a bite to eat and relax after the hike.

Lovely place for a quick hike, regardless of the season.

It is a nice easy trail along a river with nice views and with many f shaded areas which makes the hike very pleasant especially on a hot summer day.

Great relaxing track for all ages.

Hiking is somehow challenging in some areas, on the red cross trail, along the gorge. Make sure you are hiking on a sunny day to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Beautiful place to hike and eat, highly recommended.
