Amazing food, fast service. The small museum is beautiful. We love the pancakes and "tocan de oaie". Love it.

A very traditional place. The cook spoke a little English and told us about the dishes that were available. He was really helpful and we managed to communicate. We had mutton stew with polenta and a sausage on the side! A real experience.

Fantastic food with the added value of knowing that you are learning about the true local sheppard culture. Always love to return here and pleased to learn that they have received certificate of originality, because Maria is true ambassador of local culture and the sheppards.

Very cool spot to stop on the Transalpina. Not a huge selection of menu items when I stopped (but it was off season). But the grilled lamb and polenta I did have was delicious.

Friendliest and most welcoming place, showing the Romanian traditional house and clothing, with super delicious food, just like in my childhood (in Romania). The smiles welcoming you there are so ready to tell you everything about each mountain around and how the traditional life on the mountain is.
Totally recommending!

Totally recommend! A must in order to take a bit of authentic food from Romania. Very clean, very tasty. Not so big prices. I recommend also to buy cheese and honey.

Good traditional food! Best lamb stew and veal stew with polenta, great pancakes and you should try "socată", a natural juice made from elderflowers

Best place to have some traditional Romanian food on Transalpina (the mamaliga cu branza was my favourite)
Very quick service , the landscape and the views are awesome , they have a small traditional museum free to view , also possibility to take some pictures with shepherd's coat . Wish they had a nice play area for kids though .

If you are looking for authenticity and a surprising ethnic vibe, you have to go there... empty the stomach before and have a tocan!
