Ruins of Trinidad

Beautiful site dating back to 1706! The staff are absolutely amazing, very kind and accommodating. The light show starts at 21:00 , Google says it closes at 7pm but that is not true. The pass is 25mil and is for 3 different sites. It is lovely, I recommend wearing sneakers and bringing a snack along. If you are in the area this is a must see!

The ruins themselves are impressive and the history even more so. Inarguably the top destination in Paraguay when it comes to touristic/historic value and a window into a unique experiment in creating a collectivist society that briefly flourished on the fringes of an empire.

The insight shared by the park employees by way of a brief tour of the grounds as part of the ticket is great as well, and while the tour is only available in Spanish, the site museum information and orienting site video are both available in multiple languages.

Absolutely wonderful historical place, must see in Paraguay. Tickets are cheaper to buy with sedula. Three places to visit for three days using 1 ticket. Were there twice, the night show is accompained by authentic music and a guide.

Without doubt the most amazing sight I've visited in Paraguay. Pay by cash or card. Information centre with short film in English and Spanish. Information boards around the site to explain which building you're exploring, in Spanish. Quiet, little visited UNESCO site only a service bus ride from Encarnación. Lovely restaurant very close by with chicken and pasta for 20,000 as the menu del dia.

FYI: I didn't see any signs in English at the Trinidad sight.

Went here on a very rainy day, but it was beautiful! Loved to walk around there without anyone else around! The place was still just as beautiful as it looks in the sun! Super interesting to see this amazing part of Paraguay!

It's very pretty and it looks amazing! The history of the place is very good and interesting! Would definitely recommend this place for a fun time.

Great piece of Paraguayan history and well preserved. The best place to see the huge amount of work and architectual expertise invested in the jungle in the middle of South America 300 years ago.

The beautiful Jesuitical missions are a nice place to visit.
I can only recommend to visit them during the day but also in the evening/early night as they have illuminations in some days that change the whole experience...

Beautiful ruins with some fine renovations. Come in the evening for the light and music show - very atmospheric
