Jesuit Mission of Jesús de Tavarangüe

Head towards the terminal station in incarnation. These will be the buses that head towards ciudad de l'est. I believe the bus cost 15k (2 usd) to go and come back. There are 3 ruines that are included in the ticket price. However, they are distant from each other. 2 are close enough but will require a taxi (to get there there is a bus but make sure you have a taxi to get you back unless you ask him to wait for you as you explore the ruines). So, step 1 the bus will drop you to an intersection . Walk to the nearest ruines (near stop 10 min walk). Make friends and head to the second ruines (step 2 - walk back to the bus stop). Step 3 decide if take collective bus (10k or 1.5 usd) and make sure you get a ride back or make friends and share a taxi ( maybe 100k or less as a total price). We were 4 and we each paid 20k. Step 4 - the taxi will drop you to the bus stop and head back to the terminal. I believe 6pm is the last bus but ask to make sure. Most people do not go to the 3rd ruine as it is 150k away. Overnight it is nice and a good experience. I think the price was 8usd or 56k but i don't remember. You can buy the tickets at any locations and there are not many people. Enjoy!

I liked the well preserved buildings a lot. There are quite a view and you can easily spend two hours wondering and wandering. There is a light & sound show every Thursday to Sunday after sunset (Jesus has a 3D show). Entrance is 25.000, keep the ticket as it's valid for Jesus and San Cosme as well (within 3 days time frame).

Very interesting tour, take aprox 30 min to see the night show which starts at 18:00. If you come during the day though theres much less people and you can spend more time taking photos etc.
The tickets are valid for 3 days for all the 3 jesuit sites. Also it worth it to arrive like 15 min before to see a cartoon explaining the history of the place for kids amd adults.and also to pass through the museum
Overall a good experience to learn about the interesting culture and history that made Paraguay people as they are today

Amazing cultural site and is not so distant past, this was happening during the revolutionary War in the 🇺🇸

Good location of the ruins that makes the tour very quiet and helps the visitor feel what life would have been in the XVIII century reduction.
Cool detail that the guide is dressed in the traditional Paraguay clothes.
Grounds are very well kept and the view from Mirador is neat.
They have a 3D show of the 'Jesuit Adventures' at 8pm.
Ticket costs around 3.3 dollars and works for 3 days and for 3 different reductions.

Very nice place difficult to reach. Bus passing just after the righ side of street to Jesus at the intersection with ruta 6. Just between 2 petrol station. Otherwise wait for a taxi for 10000gs by people. They wait to have minimum 3 people before going
