Tradicional restaurant in downtown Asunción, with fantastic food and a old school vibe. I'm the food was promt and delicious, we will definitely be back.

I recently visited Bar San Roque and had a fantastic experience. The hamburger was simple, but really delicious. The apple juice was freshly made from real apples, which was a nice touch. The restaurant was spacious and one of the oldest in the city, so it had a lot of character. I would highly recommend trying out their surubí, as it was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time.

One of my favorites restaurants, have a delicious food, it's a historic place here in Asunción and I recommend this place if you are looking for a good lunch.

My wife and I ate here recently on our first trip to Paraguay. We loved it, very good. We each ordered a different version of Surubi, and an order of Sopa Paraguaya. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're spending time in Asunción.

Definitely a place worth visiting, unfortunately parking your vehicle there it's complicated so you might want to consider other means of transportation such as Taxi, Uber and the like.
The servings are generous in size and I find them to be on great price-point.

This is a very nice place to try paraguayan traditional dishes. You need to know that if you as for the 'sopa paraguaya' it is not a soup but sort of a cake, which is also delicious.

This traditional restaurant in Asuncion was the place my father used to enjoy 6O years ago. The quality and warmth remains the same.

A good reason to visit the otherwise uninteresting Asuncion old town is this lovely restaurant. An antique building, testimony of the colonial era, greatly kept, transports the diner in time. Of the several fine dishes available, my preferred ones are Cazuela de Surubi (surubi stew) and grilled surubi. Beer is good, the typical sopa paraguaya is ok but i have tried better. Generally, a must go. Every time i visit Asuncion, it's my "can't miss" thing to do.

Excellent place to eat. Traditional fare. Especially recommend their empanadas, milanesas and arroz quesù.
