Great stand-alone Vodafone store in central Alcobaça! Take a ticket when entering and you will be helped by kind, helpful staff. Google Translate was helpful due to my poor Portuguese and their minimal English, so it’s helpful to use the website in advance to learn of different SIM card plan options.

There is another cell phone store in the big shopping center nearby called Centro Comercial Gafa, but they had several brands. In that mall, it was not specifically a Vodafone store (we walked by it).

So I’d recommend this store. I’ve starred the area in the pics- Look for the red Vodafone circle logo

The two ladies in the alcobaca Vodafone shop are very rude and un helpful, I wanted a top up card for my hotspot which I have previously bought in albuferia and Tomar without any difficulties, I took the card in to show which card a would like to purchase and Google translated prior to visiting the shop , they both ignored me on arrival one was doing nothing but the other was up dating new prices on display but after 10 mins of waiting I did actually encounter the worse customer service I have ever experienced, I came away very upset without the cards I had required my friend who is Portuguese came down to the shop with me later and low and behold the cards I had requested and had written down with Google translate where hidden and locked up , the two staff were rude to my friend too so my advice if you need a vodaphone shop do not visit alcobaca as the two staff will not help you at all , very upset and distressed by the rude disrespectful behaviour
