Kantu - O Mundo na cozinha.

Delicious! I would say this is similar to an Asian fusion restaurant that we would have in Canada. We ordered the chicken satay for an app and then for mains we had the chicken pad Thai and the banh mi sandwich. The flavors were amazing and everything was seasoned very well. We stumbled upon this place late in the evening and they took us in right before closing (thank you!).

Great food, very tasty. It does not have a huge menu items list. However, the ones we took were very tasty and presentable. The water is filtered, which was a nice surprise
The staff was quite nice. They have tables outside for hot days and tables inside. Have of course vegan and vegetarian options, and a kids menu. I recommend it as a very good choice

Stopped over Kantu while in Évora. The hostess was very pleasant and accommodating to us being Vegan and went above and beyond to validate what is possible or not. The menu is very vegan/vegetarian friendly.

We ordered Yellow Thai Curry, Ramen and Bahn Mi and it was spectacular. Really enjoyed experience by sitting outside and sharing seating with the waffle place next door.

Great food, amazing service and a pátio that when the weather permites is perfect for a large group. We are a vegetarian family and this little couzy space gave us all we needed: the Ramen and Pad Thai were just right for the adults and the vegetarian burgers were a delight for our little ones. Ruan is a delight of a person with a contagious smile whose only focus is to make you enjoy their food and that peace of time with them. Karine ensures nothing is left out and together with the invisible magical hands of Ruan's Mum you will leave satisfied in your tummy and heart.

A little place that can serve good food for all diets: veggy or not. They want to hear your opinion and are always adapting to their customers desires

A cozy little place. Friendly staff. When you need a break from local food and want some Asian grub. This place does a pretty good job. Not super authentic, but a good enough representation of some classic Asian dishes. Fresh ingredients.
Good portion sizes.

We have never been to the restaurant but get delivery with Glovo at least once a week. Our go to dishes are the Yellow curry with prawns which is sublime and chicken satays.

We love the Thai influence in the food - something we had missed a lot

Now it is cooler, we will visit the restaurant. However we do feel sad that the new owner has chosen to diversify the menu - and not in a good way...adding local dishes, burgers etc.

I fear they will lose what made them unique and become just another restaurant.

Friendly service and tasty Asian-influenced cuisine with vegan options. The BBQ tofu bao was on target, while the yellow vegetable curry had just the right amount of spice. Again, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for a mellow, affordable meal.

Delicious food and very good service! They didn't have a lot of vegan options but we had the vegan ramen and the curry and they were delicious! The staff was very friendly and could tell us exactly what was and wasn't vegan so it was very easy to choose. Would recommend!

Their duck ramen is superb! And we’ve had ramen in Japan :)

This was the best Pad Thai I have ever had in my life! We loved it so much that we went back the next day for lunch. Also, our waiter was an awesome guy with a great sense of humor. We enjoyed a wonderful conversation with him.

We had the pad Thai and the duck tacos. They were creative renditions of the dishes, unlike like any Pad Thai or tacos we had before. However, we both really enjoyed our dishes. A nice change from the regional specialties. It's also located in a cute square. I'd be happy to return.

A very cozy and friendly place in a quiet area free from traffic and big crowds. We enjoyed the options of the menu and we were all surprised by quantity and quality of the products. The staff was super nice. He also has veggie options. Recommended.

We ate here twice while staying in Évora. It's the ideal place to eat if you're looking to change things up a bit from the delicious but sometimes a bit heavy Portuguese cuisine. The food was delicious! Definitely try the Bao! And the green tea tiramisu...wow... Also the vegetarian options of all the dishes were amazing. Service was really nice, funny and very considerate. Overall a great experience!
