A great family place with wonderful staff. Just the daily specials are available. We had the roast chicken and fish. Both really well done and super tasty. So bread, soup, main and a mini carafe of wine for each. ALL great and for the really great price of 7.5 Euros. If you skip this place you're a fool.

Great little authentic restaurant, the menu changes every day depending on the availability of local products. Very good value for your money around 7€50 pour a menu with drinks. A great way to experience Portuguese cuisine.

It’s a really great place to eat. Their menu changes everyday. I got myself the cod. The whole meal cost €6 and it includes bread, soup, main course, drinks (you can get wine as well, it’s included in the price. I got myself the white wine) and coffee/tea. I can not recommend this place enough. It was filled with Portuguese. But don’t worry, one of the waiter can speak English.
Will definitely come back!

Very good food at a very fair price! Service was friendly and the restaurant was full of locals. From our experience in Portugal if they never give you a paper menu that means you are going to get the best and most authentic food at a reasonable price. Loved this experience and would go back!

WOW! O Marquês is such a nice restaurant. Make sure you don’t miss this small restaurant a little bit off the main road, because it has a lot to offer. The menu del dia, which changes on a daily basis, is just delicious. I had a soup with bread and Portugese olive oil, fish with potatoes and vegetables and an espresso, water and wine for less than 10 euros. Additionally the service was amazing. ✨

This Place is great. They had between 2 and 4 different dishes each night which are written on the chalkboard (no regular menu). The dishes change every day, depends what kind of fish/meat they get at the market. So the food is super fresh and you definitely taste it. I chose the grilled fish. Sides were potatoes and beet. Well flavored, yummy and healthy food. The vino verde was fantastic, too. We payed for two people 15 bucks in total. Very good and cheap food. I can just recommend this place!

Great and unexpected experience. I got there with no previous recommendation or checking out opinions. We were the only tourists among locals and have the opportunity to feel the atmosphere and typical food (awesome fish!) at very attractive price. Add the great and friendly staff and you get a must visit place in Viana. My full recommendation!

The menu is based on daily dishes the owner will explain to you with abundance of details. For 6 euro per person, you can have a pre-meal soup, a main dish and a beer (/the drink of choice). I would like to stress the awesomeness of the proprietor and the other customers who all helped us and talked to us during the dinner. Fresh fish and homemade cuisine.

Just simply the best local place, and definitely best price/performance place in town. We were with 5 kids and the waiter clearly said it is only 3 menus for the kids. The price is already low, but such treatment deserves special mentioning...
