Really good beach, expansive sands that are very clean with sandunes. Very windy which is why it is perfect for kite/wind surfing 🏄‍♂. If you don't do this, just watch - truly fascinating.

A clean and calm place good for sports like surf, but also fantastic for any nature enthusiast as not only you have the beach but just steps away natural coastal pine forests .

Changing area on way to the beach whiche as useful. Lots of people there but didn't feel crowded. Very soft sand and clean. Great swimming with lifeguard attendance.

Parking busy but if you drive around can find a space

No rocky slippery paths to the water, lots of dunes and beautiful wind surfing to watch. Great toilets too with showers.

A bit out of the way if you’re staying in Viana Do Castelo but there is a ferry that crosses the river for €1.50 each way. It was wonderful little trip, the beach is beautiful and a lot of wind surfers around which is quite nice to see.

Nice place for nature, beach, kitesurf and surf lovers! Amazing view for the Santa Luzia Palace.

Beautiful beach in the morning with an huge areal and exposed rocks in the morning. However in the afternoon you need to forget about sunbathing due to strong wind making it uncomfortable with sand all over you. It is perfect for windsurf and kitesurf visible by the amount of people doing it in this beach in the afternoon.

Very good beach with good wind spots for kite and wind surfing. Good waves for surfing beginners. Waters are may be some what cold but the beach is perfect for a family day.

Big and wide beach. Good place for surfing

Beautiful beach, hot sand, not crowded, free car park, toilets and bathroom facilities are free as well. There is a beach hut serving cold bevereges and snacks on the beach and a beach hut 2floor house with skyopen 1st floor 20mtrs off the beach if you head back to the car park, which serves burgers, wraps salads, coffee, sangria with superb service. They gave us trays and helped us carry our order to the beach where we were sitting. So we were drinking cappuccino out of china cups laying on hot sand, watching kitesurfers do their thing and enjoying beautiful weather.

Very nice and clean white sand beach, young and sporty crowd, a lot of kite surfs and some beach bars. I had a great time there and can definitely recommend this place.

When i was young i used to walk from Viana to the beach of Cabedelo.The beach is windy and cold to swim.No women in the beach or girls to show their assets to warm my body. A sacrifice to control myself in the name of my G....
