You can eat the best bacalhau (cod) here in whole Portugal. The place is big but usually packed, so it’s better to book a table. The portions are big and delicious. We also had a steak that was also high class. The wine menu is pretty good too. Highly recommended.

One of the best restaurants around Lisbon. Can be a bit pricey (50-60€ for 2) but the food is very well made and with top quality ingredients.
The Bacalhau is amazing - garlicky, perfectly cooked and not too salty.
The Costoleta might be the best meat I had in the center region of Portugal for the price. Perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Deserts are ok, nothing to write home about.
Make sure to book in advance, it gets a long queue in the weekends at least.

Excellent restaurant to go when you just feel like having some delicious meat. The chourizo and morcela were really good as well. The chocolate mousse was fine. Book in advance, the place gets crowded very fast.

The best place to eat bachlau. Amazing sangria too with perfect amount of alcohol. Not all serving staff speak English but with little effort you can order the food. I recommend to have the food you see in the pictures.

Back after a few years and it's the same, very good. Two "main" dishes, cod or veal cutlet, servings are enough for 2 or even 3 people. We chose the cod and as I remembered, it was fantastic, tasty and tender cod, properly seasoned with olive oil and garlic. Unmissable.

Typical Portuguese restaurant with a very good atmosphere and amazing cod fish specials. The beef is also one of the ex-libris of this place.

This is the best place on Earth to eat bacalhau, I promise you. Small tip: make sure you ask for the "Posta de Bacalhau" and not the "Bacalhau Desfiado". The place itself is also very cosy, embodying the tradition of the region. Really recommend!

One of the best restaurants for family reunions near Lisbon. Or any other motive ;) It's just great the food here!

Wonderfull experience, had the codfish and the T-bone, recommend it for sure, no one will regret comming to this place, old wine factory with lots of old stuff from previous times, an historical place that will impress anyone that goes there...

Incredible steak and bacalhau. I think the steak is best, but that might be due to preference. Can't go wrong either way.

This is an outstanding place serves only two dishes,Codfish and stakes. In a very high standard.cozy traditional place.

We went there for dinner last night, a last minute decision that we definitely do not regret. Was abso amazing, the whole night. From the amazing starters to the dessert .... very worth the 30 min trip

Update :
Two years have passed almost, since the first visit to this restaurant, and it has became one of our top listed places to eat. The quality of the food only get better with time, and each time we visit I belive the cod portion is just getting bigger.
With the price, with the journey, worth the wait.
This place is a must for anyone who's a cod lover, good food lover. Can't recommend enough

The food and staff is great. Be aware that the cod Is good enough for 3/4 adults :) the beef chop also melts in your mouth. Do not go there without reservation

Old restaurant but super charming.
Employees are gently has only portugueses know how to be.
We eat codfish at 4pm. It was delicious.
But the exposed tomahawk were very inviting also. Next time :)
Acceptable price considering the large portions.
