Absolutely excellent. Everything was great about this meal. Food was delicious and very well prepared and presented.

The decor is fabulous as were all the staff.

Some dishes were a bit pricey but worth it, considering what you are getting.

Outside seating area provides views of the Rio Tejo.

Highly recommended.

Such a surprise! A wonderful restaurant in an awful industrial backwater. The menu was very inventive, though based on excellent local seafood and a twist on traditional recipes. There were also some old favourites, such as peixinhos da horta, not fish but tempura green beans. Even these had a twist, they are usually flat, runner beans but these were french, round green beans. The fried sardines were crisp and delucious, the breaded octopus crisp and very soft, not rubbery at all. The wine list was comprehensive with some very good local (Lisbon area) wines. I think there is an outdoor terrace too, which must have great views on the majestic Tagus river.

Me and my friends were in the area running an errand and someone recommended us this place, cool decor gave me a “Bahamian” vibe, we had this awesome dish called “Cataplana de touro” with shrimp, it was delish and enough for even 3 people. Was my first time having bull’s meat and found it super tasty. Definitely recommend.

A hidden gem. This restaurant provides a wonderful experience in several ways. It’s location is amazing, just by the river, in a quiet part of the town. The personnel is efficient and friendly, welcomes you very well. Finally, the food is delightful, both in presentation and in taste.

Very good restaurant.

WE had lunch there Wednesday last. The decor is beautiful and relaxing with tables well spaced. The food was delicious and the attention of staff outstanding. The local tiny shrimps which are an opener are a treat, especially when the owner suggested we eat them with olive oil and black pepper. Overall a great lunch and we hope to be back someday soon.

The BEST meal we have had in all of Portugal! We got lost and found this oasis, thank goodness. The food was beyond excellent, the drinks truly authentic and the service impeccable. The owners work hard, they wait on you and you can see their passion in this beloved space. You must stop here 😊
