Fantastic place with so much for kids to do. Our 3.5 year old loved the circus area and the building a house. We spent hours there and will go back for more, we only found the robots and ground floor craft section as we were leaving. Highly recommend especially for the 3-10 yr olds

What to say about the Knowledge Pavillion-Science Alive?

This is an amazing science museum that is great for all ages. It features interactive and interesting expositions and activities that will draw you in and leave you wanting more and more knowledge.

I highly recommend it, and this is just our second time here.

Great place for families. You can learn some more facts about space, phisics, and let kid inside you explore science of today and of the future...

Wooo amazing place, Must go with kids!
A cute robot welcomed us at the hall.
Place divided few different activities.
My kids spent half day here. And they didn't want to left.
It is very fun and hands on place for kids to explore different things. If time allows me I would let them stay all day here.
So impressed lying on the nails. And my daughter got bicycle on a rop.
The "Doing room" was our much time spent. We built a drawing machine with a small piece of engine with 2 batteries operates. a flying pig we made was another cool thing.
So much fun. Highly recommend this place.

Probably the best science museum I have been to for children. The entrance is very spacious and is designed amazingly. The main hall has a large selection of mostly typical science museum exhibits along with explanations in one space, a few I haven't seen in other science museums (very nice pool tables with different curves and a virtual wall where you can spray your graffiti with a virtual spray). All exhibits were very interactive and visual. Nothing was broken or not operational. Some you would expect to find in illusion museums too. The next big hall was for younger children and it was more like the most creative playground I have ever seen. My 9 year old ended spending a lot of time there as well and I wish we came here for the whole day when he was a bit younger too. You can wear a special velcro costume and climb a wall, thrown balls to try to hit cones of "ice-cream" and the children younger than 6 can spend sometimes in a little construction site with helmets. There was also a quite good dinosaur exhibition downstairs when we visited. Highly recommended, especially with children.

This is an absolutely amazing place to take kids of all ages. Nearly everything is interactive and engaging. We went with our toddler and he absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend!
We also at some small bites at the cafe and it was very reasonable and tasty

On our last day of Lisbon holiday, kids decided to do something of their interest. They chose the science museum over Oceanarium ( i think its because of the interactivity factor). Boy! Were we engaged? Oh yes! As an adult, i also learned a thing or two. This place needs a full day or better part of the day. The museum has lots of assistants who help kids with activities. My daughter and i took up sewing projects and made cute stuff to take home. Their DOING section deserves a special mention as that was the highlight of our visit.
The cafe is nice too and the toilets are also interesting with science facts.

All in all, a great day of learning science with kids. For tourists, it might seem an off-the-beaten-track activity, but if you have kids from 7 to 12 years old, do take them here..its worth it!

Excellent place to spend time with your 4+/16- children, lots of real world examples explaining laws of physics.

Even being adult you might enjoy experiencing realities which are familiar from your childhood.

Plan to spend around two hours in this place unless you have infinite time and let your children as long as they want.

This place is great fun and educational for kids and for adults. As we are on holiday and not fluent in Portuguese, it was great that there were English translations for each exhibit. Highly recommend for a family friendly activity - €28 for a family pass. There's an excellent interactive part on the lower floor, Doing, where kids can make things or interact with robots. Great place if you or your children are interested in dinosaurs!

Wow, what a museum! First of all, if you dont have kids this museum may not be for you. There are a couple of rooms more for older kids and adults but this place is really amazing for kids. Our 4 year old girls love this museum and we could have spent the whole day there! It was clean, spacious, bright and with so many fun interactive things to do while learning scientific principles. Our girls loved the construction area and spent nearly an hour there trying to finish the house. All the volunteers and staff members were so friendly and approachable. Remember to keep your tickets as you can enter multiple times and if you go to the cafeteria (recommended) you need your ticket to go out and back in. This is a must do activity especially on a 🌧 day in Lisbon if you have kids. Obrigada!

A very interesting museum, where the kids and adults can understand, touch and see most of the science theory and explanation. It has four main halls, regarding the age. The price for the family is 28 EUR and we had a lot of fun. Recommend it,

We had an absolute blast at the science museum in Lisbon! The museum's interactive exhibits and hands-on activities were engaging and educational. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The museum's dedication to making science exciting and accessible for children is truly commendable. If you're in Lisbon, make sure to visit this fantastic museum.

Amazing museum with hundreds of experiments not only for young kids but for grown ups to learn about science, environment and history.

We have visited it twice, as our children wanted to comeback, it is a great experience for kids and adults. The best part IMO is the creative room in -1 floor which allows to play with robots.

On the ground floor there are free lockers, you can ask for the key. The ticket allows full day entry, you can go out to eat and come back.

For children aged 3-6, I highly recommend a visit. Works as an indoor playground and in addition stimulates a curiosity for science.

With our 4 year old, three hours flew by quickly.

Photos show a drawing of a "rainbow turtle" scanned into an "aquarium" and a hide-and-seek camouflage.

I love this place almost as much as my 5-year old! It is informative, fun and perfect for the 'Why? Why? Why?' age...She was there for a friend's birthday first, and because she was so excited we also went again on 16 May when it was free entrance for Scientist Day.
I understand they have a number of free tickets available everyday, but I would easily pay the ticket price for the experience gained...

Very cool place. My 1.75 year old loved it. Perfect place for a rainy day. You could easily spend all day there as long as your kid likes science and has energy.
