Beautiful place with super friendly staff. They were able to get me an impromptu vegan meal. Especially loved the tomato soup with figs!

There's a soup that you should try in summer since it uses a seasonal fruit, it's the Tomato Soup with dogs, it's more that amazing. Just by thinking of it I'm already salivating.

Excellent restaurant for the traditional food from Alentejo. The rooms are decorated with wine and winery elements and tools. Knowledgeable staff.

We stayed nearby for a couple nights while exploring the surrounding area, so we got to eat breakfast and dinner here. What a treat it was!!! Definitely an authentic experience, with friendly faces, fresh food, and good wine. I had the picanha and my wife had the bacalhau. Both excellent choices and highly recommended. The place is also very reasonably priced, clean, and the service what very fast. Thank you!!

Fantastic traditional alentejo restaurant. Food super fresh. Good sizes & prices. In particular you must try the soups. The tomato is the best! Really nice staff. Definitely our favourite in the area.

Excellent everything! The food is amazing with super portions. The staff is very friendly, attentive and caring with kids (Susana was fabulous). The owner comes to greet you and for a quick chat!

My favourite restaurant in the area! Super cozy, very friendly service and amazingly delicious local food. I recommend booking in advance as it gets busy during the week-ends.

Exceptional dishes, we tried the sopa de tomate and secretos de porco and loved it. The owner was very friendly and provided excellent service. The only problem is that the restaurant did not appear to be following Covid distancing rules - tables were clearly not sufficiently distanced, one table seated 8 and we heard bookings being made for 7 people (while rules are max 5 per table). There was also a staff of over 5 people running around the restaurant. If we had known this was the case we wouldn’t have dined here because we didn’t end up feeling very comfortable. Or if the weather permitted we’d sit outside. Otherwise as mentioned, the food is really excellent.

We loved the food here!! We had 3 kinds of soups and stews that were all amazing. Our favorite was the tomato soup with figs - very different and delicious! The service was just wonderful.

Listen to me, this one of the best restaurants you’ll come across in your life. The food is true Portuguese genius cuisine straight from Alentejo. You’ll be so full and so happy afterwards there’s no going wrong here.
My best bet is on the Cozido de Grão, which might look like a confusing soup but it’s simply out of this world.
Nice and hardworking people. Outstanding food. And it’s not even expensive. 10/10
