Camping Rosário (adults only 16+)

This lovely place is truly an oasis! The welcome couldn’t have been warmer, and the place wonderfully combines the tranquility of the olive grove and wide views, with warm hospitality and lovely food, plus the delight of a pool to cool off.
We couldn’t commend Ernst and Enrica’s lovely place highly enough, and would gladly have stayed longer if we could.

I got everything I needed: peace and quiet. I felt very safe (for a woman travelling solo it's always a big plus), the owner was super accommodating for my needs. The swimming pool felt like a luxury on a 33 degrees afternoon. My 2 nights stay was 100% recharging, my dog and I loved everything. Thank you so much.

If you enjoy peace and quiet in a beautiful location, far from the madding crowds you will love this place. A friendly welcome, simple, clean facilities with plenty of hot water in the showers and a bar for a cold beer after a long drive. We very much enjoyed our stopover and will aim to revisit for longer next time we head into Portugal.

If you surch for a bit of party and high life, this camping spot is most definitely not the place to go for you.
But if you seek quiet peace, nature and a verify nice place to stay, your shouldn't miss Camping Rosario!
The owner's really care for their guests and your can feel and see the love they put into that spot.
We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back as soon as we visit Portugal again! (Maybe to be the first in the pool again)

We stayed 4 nights on this lovely small campground located in an olive grove, truly out in the countryside of the Alentejo. Some sites offer a view on an arm of the huge Alqueva reservoir. Very friendly hosts, excellent home-made pizza and other food (Enrica is in fact Italian), a lovely small pool, and very clean sanitary facilities make this place a little paradise that you don't want to leave too early 😁

Really nice and relaxing campsite, small but refreshing pool on the border of lake Alqueva. Plenty of walking and cycling opportunities on quiet rural roads. Very friendly and hospitable owners serving also drinks and simple but deliciuos food on terrace near pool.

A small, cute and very clean camping where simplicity makes it more charming. The camping itself is small but the places to set the tent are very big and gives you privacy. Bathrooms are always super clean and with hot water. Nights are dark and totally quiet!!the bbq area, the swimming pool and the relax area are great. The couple managing the business while the owners are out is very kind!!this place has been a very nice surprise!

My girlfriend and I just finished our 3 night stay and we had a wonderful time. The campground was well maintained including the pool, restrooms and common areas. Firstly the welcome on arrival was lovey and friendly.The pool and surrounding countryside is really nice. In the evening we were invited to join the owner and some campers on a long wooden table for a drink and some laughs. A really pleasant experience. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very quiet all day and night. Food cooked in house and great value as were the drinks. Well worth the visit Thankyou Chris Jane and Bowie 😊😊😊

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Upon arriving, the owner saw that our vehicles were from Germany and proceeded to speak with our party in perfect German. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating! The owners offer a delicious looking menu with home cooked meals and present guests with a wine list. After spending hours driving and dealing with the hot sun, it was really refreshing to be able to relax in the swimming pool with friends! Our three vans were able to park together under the shade of olive trees and we enjoyed the sunset while listening to music. When I return to this area of Portugal, I will definitely be staying here again!

We had the pleasure of staying for 4 nights. The campground is beautiful - the pitches are large and well spaced out, the bathrooms are very clean with good showers, and the hosts, Ernst and Enrica, are wonderful and kind! The pizza is delicious and daily bread delivery is available :) The site is small and quiet, the location is gorgeous, with a number of day trips and hikes available. We were sad to leave and hope to return in the future.

Beautiful property located near the border with Spain. The owners are very friendly and professional. There's a good pool and a fridge that guests can use for free. It is possible to eat Italian cuisine and the prices from the bar are adapted to the reality of the country (affordable for everyone). Very peaceful. Perfect for people searching for peace and quiet. Top 5stars without a doubt.

We stayed 2 days in the Tent and Breakfast and we simply loved it! The tent is well placed, in front of the lake. Bed, linen & towels are of good quality. The breakfast is abundant and prepared with love.
The welcome by Enrica and Ernst was warm and safe.
Toilets and showers are incredibly clean and work very well. You can put your food in a shared fridge located close to the bbq.
The swimming pool is perfect for a cool down and to relax reading a book on the comfortable lounge chairs.
You can have excellent pasta and pizza cooked by Enrica 😉
You can take walks in the surroundings and discover the amazing landscapes of Alentejo. The camping provides with maps of the walks 😎
We appreciated a lot how Enrica and Ernst manage this small paradise and the atmosphere they created ❤

Lovely small campsite, perfect for those who love being off the beaten track. Very good facilities, nice plots and warm welcome from the Dutch host. Swimming pool looked nice, but it was too cold for us to try it out. Would have loved to stay longer! One of the two nicest campsites we had on our holiday around Portugal.

There are no words that can describe the beauty of this magical place… but let start with what an amazing host the owner of this little paradise. So clean, so organize , every little details it’s been taking care of. We love the place and sure will be back. It’s highly recommended. Thank you ♥

This is our favourite campsite in Portugal and thus, probably, the world. Small, peaceful and quiet, without any screaming kids, but big enough to have excellent facilities, like the swimming pool.
The owners, Ernst and Enrica, are also two of our favourite people, who seem to have almost infinite patience, even with the occasional unreasonable or unthinking guest.

A true gem of a campsite! Huge pitches, stunning and peaceful location, amazing and attentive hosts (Ernst and Enrica), clean facilities, lovely pool, and super tasty home made pizza! We enjoyed our stay here (August 6-10) so much that two nights turned in to four. 10/10 we look forward to staying again. James & Tamar. :) P.S. Please excuse our late review.

Fabulous feeling to this site, food really good at such reasonable prices. Ernst very welcoming and so helpful. Be aware the site is small but very busy be sure to contact before turning up. Rosario club members here often. Great stay.

Such a great little campsite!!! Me, my wife and our dog spent out first weekend after opening there and we are more than happy. Clean nice facilities and great pool. Great owners and wonderful surroundings. Relaxing and quiet!! Will definetely go back!!!
