O Gato do Rio

I ordered take away and went to collect it. I was very impressed with the presentation (see photo). Small gestures go a long way, and makes us want to go back. The food was also lovely, very tasty, authentically portuguese, and good portion. I'll definitely go back next time in Braga.

Amazing rustic atmosphere, super chill, parking, outside areas and brilliant service. The menu is local, varied, and includes fresh fish and meat. Dessert choice is varied, but some friends reported theirs were a bit aged and also that consistency was off. My tiramisu was well prepared though and tasted homemade, if a bit bland (a tad below the usual sweetness and spirited flavour). Wine and spicy beef were pristine, a LOT of sides and couvert options (and all of them above average quality), and prices are very acceptable for what I got. It's not perfect, but it certainly excels in some regards.

The restaurant was very nice. We ate outside in the evening. The staff came out right away and offered cocktails for the adults and drinks that looked similar to the children. The food was very good. The staff was super nice and attentive.
