Camping Giralda Isla Cristina

Stayed here in motorhome for a week..nice big pitches though prone to flooding when it rained but soon soaked in to sandy solid ground. Friendly staff, fresh rolls every day from small shop that sold basics, beer, bread etc. bar on site only open weekends and expensive. Toilets and showers clean but no where to keep clothes dry in shower. Tepid water on only 2 sinks for dish washing. 5 mins to nice beach, lots of dogs mess everywhere!! 40 mins walking to centre of Isla Cristina along a good beach path through pine woods and dunes. Lovely beach for shell collecting.

Great use of space in the bungalow (we were in Villa 5). The whole building was incredibly well-equipped, with a full set of pots and pans, colander, kettle, wide array of cutlery and spatulas etc — great for cooking your own meals.

We only stayed for one night, but the wider campsite seemed to have a great set of facilities too, including a nice clean building to do your laundry and an on-site shop, which wasn't cheap but not prohibitively expensive either. We arrived on a Sunday, when all the supermarkets were shut, so the ability to pick up a sack of pasta and some sauce for a few euro was invaluable.

Reception was friendly too, with good English and nice touches like knowing who we were before we gave our names on arrival.

WiFi did reach our bungalow. Connection was a bit patchy but serviceable even for my ancient grumpy laptop.

We liked the parking, which was deep inside the compound, directly across from and in full view of our bungalow.

Just got back from 2 nights here. It was our first time staying in such a large campsite with so many sites and people. But, it was a very nice experience. We found a nice quiet corner for our caravan and settled in just fine. It was a new experience for us, so many other campers in one place, like a small town, but it was excellent. Great atmosphere, staff were perfect, under huge pressure, third week in August, but they were very relaxed. Electricity was faultless. Location is great. Just enjoy.

I just popped by earlier today for services, the most organised and pleasant people. As I moved onto the motorway,mu tyre entirely blew out. I was shaking and had very little time to get to my ferry in huelva port. I called the reception and they went out of their way calling garages to come out n help Me. Thank you. I made the ferry.

One of the best Camping Sites I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. It's perfect for a nice getaway and just be on your own. The river scenery is to die for. The beach is great. And the camping installations are in pretty good condition, always being renewed and kept by the wonderful and super helpful staff, that have one of the best costumer services. The only downside is that I absolutely dislike going there in high season, it's just too crowded and for the kind of experience I'm looking for it just makes it loose all the magic of the wonderful involving nature (still good for their business I suppose :). Nonetheless a nice Little gem in the south of Spain that is not to be ignored. I have been going there ever since I have memory. And I'm hoping to keep going there for as long as I can. Thank you.

Huge campsite with big pitches. Well maintained and very clean.

That was our first camping experience in Europe, and we found it quite nice. Comparing with our stay in Porta that was pure nature paradise with big and clean swimming pool, fresh air and perfect location in national park. Very close to the beach and the way there goes under the beautiful trees covers you from the sun.

Here is all you need. Tpilets and showers very clean and too old made. Beach is 300m and ots great. Good bikeways. Also supermarket and restaurant. Not too full at the moment.

Very friendly welcome by nice lady, all the people working their very helpful. Shame they closed the swimming pool at the end of September. Liddle supermarket 20 min walk away, beach fantastic across the way. Loved our visit :-)
Be warned drivers do not always stop at the crossing even when lights go red and green man says your safe to cross, wife was nearly hit by car.

Staff is super friendly, clean facilities and the beach and town are close by. The camp site is also nice and quit at night for sleeping.

Wonderful campsite, we visited off season but it was still well cared for and tidy. Toilet areas clean and well maintained. We would stay here again.

Always a pleasure to camp here. Trees everywhere for our tents to shade, good bathrooms and all around facilities, and the people are generally nice.

I felt very welcomed and everyone who worked in the park are so nice and helpful

Lovely people, easy to get service and the location is meters from the beach. Perfect spot.

Very good camping.
Good service and nice employes. I advice try the pizzaria near the swimming pool and try the swimming pool.
The beach is not clean enough.
