Villa Pedra Natural Houses

This is a magical place, the Villas are so cozy and have incredible views over the valley. We visited towards the end of our trip but I wish we could have stayed longer and day tripped from here as a base as it is so relaxing to spend your afternoon and evenings here.

Villa Pedra has the perfect setting and superb attention to make your stay a memorable one. The houses are beautifully restored in this medieval village making you feel you are living in one of those amazing architectural/design magazines.
Fresh local products are used in the elaboration of their fabulous dishes, from exquisite marmalades, meats, vegetables, local cheeses, homegrown olives, their house wine & delicious bread all paired perfectly with the beautiful country side of Portugal to make your days at Villa Pedra very specials.
Marta puts her heart into every dish she made for our family and every bite was filled with bursts of regional flavors and sweet surprises.
If you prefer to enjoy a low paced, natural and easy-low maintenance vacation this is the place to be. Total relaxation and the simplicity of rural living with all the amenities you might need awaits you at Villa Pedra.

We had a great time as a family in this beautifully restored village. We especially enjoyed the spacious outdoor space in the Boys School Villa, the comunal swimming pool and the beautiful landscape. The service and food were great too! Everyone was very nice and made sure we had a good stay. Thank you Priscilla and everyone at Villa Pedra!

Beautiful & well equipped houses with wonderful views of the surrounding valley/farms. Very comfortable bed with high quality linens. Good WiFi. Good location between Porto and Lisbon and near Coimbra. Very remote though. I stayed there alone and was the only guest at the time so that was slightly creepy but I assume most people don’t stay alone!

Villa Pedra is the perfect high-quality, low-fuss getaway. We came with food and drinks and didn't leave for 2 days. Marta runs a superb restaurant - you can taste the love and care. The kitchens are well stocked with all the supplies you need to cater yourself. BBQ, juicer, ice, non-Ikea brand dishware, basic condiments ... details that set these villas apart from most we've stayed in. The total atmosphere was idyllic, and Sara kindly offered a late check out even before I asked. Thank you!

If we would have known how beautiful and relaxing will be this place we would have come for at least 4 nights. The staff was welcoming and extremely nice and the food was great. We will come back for sure.

We organised our wedding at Villa Pedra and stayed there several days before. What an amazing place and and a phenomenal staff. Lino, Sarah and Marta catered to our many needs with exceptional professionalism, quality and charm.

The Villa is stunningly built and designed with exceptional taste. You get fresh bread, pastries and ingredients for breakfast every morning which is absolutely amazing, and the lunch and dinners are superb courtesy of the chef Marta.

This is possibly the nicest place, particularly price quality, that we have stayed at!

We did not want to leave and are most certainly coming back.

Magic place

Um local absolutamente tranquilo com uma óptima envolvente. A Villa que ficámos era decorada com muito bom gosto e a cozinha equipada com tudo o que é necessário. Só faria uma sugestão de adicionar máquina de lavar loiça. Isso, no entanto, não é um impeditivo nem diminuiu o prazer da estadia. Tanto a Priscila como a Marta são super acessíveis e simpáticas e claramente à procura de dar ao hóspede a melhor estadia possível. Vamos voltar certamente!

Una gemma nascosta!
In un angolo disperso nelle montagne del Beiras,in Portogallo, troverete questo gioiello,un resort in posizione magnifica per assoluto relax e pace (avvertiti gli amanti della vita mondana..qui siete completamente distaccati dal mondo..), con arredi di grande classe e un servizio magnifico quanto discreto. La colazione viene concepita per ciascuno nella propria "casa" in cui viene recapitato il mattino il pane fresco, e il frigo viene rifornito di tutto il necessario per godersi la colazione in piena privacy nel giardino o in casa. Possibilità di cenare in loco in un bellissimo ristorante con buona cucina locale.
Unica pecca, che è anche il suo più grande pregio, è fuori dalle rotte turistiche comuni.
Complimenti al proprietario che ha ridato vita al villaggio locale con gran stile !

Excelente local para relaxar e usufruir do sossego e tranquilidade que todo o espaço proporciona. Alojamento irrepreensível , muito bonito e confortável .O acolhimento e simpatia da Marta e Priscila também foram 5 estrelas.Queremos voltar por mais tempo

Wj hadden een toffe tijd , prachtig appartement met grote tuin.
Vriendelijk, efficient personeel, persoonlijk kontact met daarbij nog lekker eten.
Opgepast, bij aankomst op zondag is er geen eetmogelijkheid. Restaurant is dicht.
Extra pluspunt is dat kleding die we vergeten waren gewoon thuis nagestuurd werd Bedankt!
