Our first visit, but it won't be the last. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious, excellent wine and friendly service, can't ask for more. Obrigado 😊

We had the Tomahawk as it was recommended and meeting all our expectations! Also other dishes were extremely good and more than enough! Nice ambiance and service really nice and helpful. We had a fabulous dinner and can certainly recommend the restaurant. Goff value for price!

Wonderful food great service, highly recommend

A massive tomahawk steak for 2 or 3, only 40 euros, side dishes included - surprisingly good meat at reasonable prices in a good spacious setting. Good service. 5 stars as it came clearly above my expectations in this forsaken part of Portugal.

The food was incredibly delicious and the cozy ambiance added to the wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, contributing to the overall welcoming atmosphere. This marked my seventh visit for dinner and each time it has been consistently delightful. Highly recommended.

This place is always amazing. Great service, great atmosphere, great people and best of all the food is amazing. Prices are reasonable and a great selection of wine and spirits. Another great night 11/12/22 Giles and his staff were once again very accommodating and served our group of 16 all at the same time with a great selection of food wine and desserts. I sinceelly hope you find this resurant on your travels in central Portugal it is fantastic . I have the benefit of friends in the area and this is a regular haunt. Soup for two and mussels for me started proceedings, two good steaks , a sea bream and octopus were the mains, three beers and a bottle of wine left change from €120

Tasty traditional food with impeccable service in a converted olive oil press space. Has a local wine shop with great selection of local wines in addition to other portuguese favourites.

Absolutely fabulous find. Staff were very welcoming and despite its popularity service ran like a well oiled machine! Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere and really friendly service. No skimping with the portions, so if you've got a healthy appetite you'll love the food which is perfect. The sweets are also to die for and all very reasonably priced.

Wow, just had lunch and what a fantastic experience. Great food, especially the tomahawk steak. House wine at €5 a bottle was lovely and the staff were excellent. We will be back!

The best Portuguese food we have ever had. Great service, huge wine choices and fab desserts. Make a reservation though. Kinda remote but very popular for good reason.

Every dish exceeds expectations. Love being surprised by the daily dishes. Staff and service is excellent. Definitely our favourite!

Nice place and the food is pretty good. We had beef grelhado, secretos de porco e bacalhau, everything was delicious.

Wonderful restaurant, couldn't recommend more. I don't know what to praise first: the food, the service or the place itself. Everything was perfect. They even have special gear to make the wine breathe and a large graphite plate to keep the Tomahawk piece hot
