Lovely albergue operated by Carlos and his family. You will be greeted by few pleasant surprises if you decide to spend a night here during your pilgrimage.

Carlos Pinheiros is the kindest host and cares very much for the comfort of guests.

Definitely a five star pilgrim hostel. I received a lovely welcome after the day's walk on the Caminho de Santiago. A very nearby lunch place was recommended and two extremely special stamps added to the credencial. Towels and bed linen supplied, refrigerator and kitchen and lovely showers. There's even a wood burning stove that the hospitalero lit during the evening. Thank you!

This is an great stop for pilgrims. We were given on of the most amazing stamps. The accommodation was nice and clean, everything you'd want.

Our stay here was fantastic! Our rooms were spacious + comfortable. Our host, Carlos was great. His Camino credential stamps are nothing short of art. A must stay for any pilgrim.

Hospitalero was a fantastic man, beautiful stamps, yes 2, small rooms with 1-2 beds, 1room with 3 beds upstairs, showers, little kitchen. The village is small, not many things to see, but just behind the albergue a takeaway place with grilled chicken...deliciosa

Another good option when on a pilgrimage. For 10 Euros I got a single room and they own also the cleaning service, which cleaned and dried nearly all my stuff for 4,50.
The Family was really nice and helpful and they have the coolest stamp for the Pilgrim Pass ever.
Also a full recommendation.

Best albergue I stayed in. Provided bedding, hot showers, and a really cool stamp for your pilgrims passport you can see in the picture. Free Porto provided when you check in. John brierly stays here when he does updates to his Camino guide! Highly recommended

Such fond memories of this place. After walking six hours plus from Tomar in 45 degree heat and getting lost along the way, it was like reaching an oasis. Carlos was a most convivial host. A true gentleman! And he has the most elaborate stamp using candle wax. Also got to stay in the John Brierley room! Named after the eminent Camino Portuguese author himself!

At this albergue, Carlos will warmly welcome you day and night with special gifts! One of them is remarkable stamps you wouldn't find anywhere else on the Camino. The John Brierley stayed here twice. Rooms and shower facility may looks bit old but for pilgrims it should not be a problem at all. Price is now 11.50 € in 2017. Right behind this albergue there is a nice place called 'Churrascaria' where a kind old lady serves you a good soup.

Really neat albuerge with proper signs from the centre. Carlos takes pilgrims as a mission and he means it - they really have the best stamp(s) through the caminho. (Also he is pretty decent in English, we had no problems with understanding each other) We were at the old part, but it's still cosy and a rooms are tidy only the bathroom ceiling has some mold (weighed out by a bathtub!) and the kitchen has seen better days, but it has everything you need, including an oven and a toaster.

Great place for pilgrims in the city center, comfortable and cleaning rooms, kichen wher you can prepare own food, hot shower and WIFI. Carlos Pinheiro is great host, his stamps are coolest for the Pilgrims Pass ever. Also a full recommendation. Thank you Carlos to help me.

Very nice albergue! Carlos Pinheiro is a a great entertaining host! Extremely clean and warm showers, all a pilgrim really needs.

A friendly well run Albergue. Three special stamps for your pilgrim passport. Breakfast available. Comfortable beds; and hot shower.

Very nice place, very friendly and helpful host. Be careful on Sunday-there can be no market, no restaurant open and the mess only early in the morning

You can get the most beautiful credential stamps on the Portuguese pilgrimage route. It was a sacred and enjoyable experience.

Maybe not the newest and fresh places, but Carlos (the owner) is an institution! Best experience so far on the Camino!
