The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly.
Also you can visit the salt mines and the local stores, it's a super interesting place, full of stories, food, and local salt.
I was so happy to get in this place.
This littles surprises you can have few km from your house. 🙂

Fantastic meal well worth a vist, chicken was great along with great customer service.

Doors open at 11.30 (this is a Sunday) and queue is waiting outside - we are a group of 8 and got lucky to get in with first tranche
But getting in early also means getting parking nearby

This place is a pilgrimage for all the Portuguese chicken lovers all over the world. The best grilled chicken with the salt of Salinas in Rio Maior Portugal. Small dining room and many times you have ro wait but all worth it

My favorite restaurant i’ve ever been to. When I come to Portugal every year my trip revolves around being able to come here at least once.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Сozy interior, wonderful friendly staff, very tasty and fast! We travel a lot on weekends and appreciate being served quickly. When visiting Salinas, be sure to have lunch at the Churrasqueira Solar do Sal!

So good we went twice in three days! Friendly staff, good for kids, great chicken and lovely ribs. Piri piri was too hot for my taste buds ( most things are!) But my family loved it and I tried the chicken without piri piri. It was just as succulent and delicious with lovely crispy skin.

Excellent place to eat. Very traditional and cozy. Keep in mind that roasted chicken is the only dish! You can easily park your car. Recommended.
