Worth the drive from an hour away. Got there early and was able to find parking right away. 1 hours after it opened it stared getting alot more busier

The Market had so much to see and buy. Spend a whole half of the day looking for literally anything. Need furniture... they got it! Need clothing... they got it. Need tools... they got it. A lot of other items Aswell, definitely the spot to gor for souvenir ideas.

It is one of the biggest loudest busiest in Portugal a place to visit on a weekend and see all of the people there selling EVERYTHING and I do mean everything from propane to chickens to rabbits everywhere is very busy and the parking lot is caos

Hundreds of booths. I believe this is every sunday. I've been there three times on Sundays only. Clothing, shoes, purses, gardening tools, garden plants and flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables, small hardware stores, and horse equipment. Horse equipment was mostly smaller things like brushes and bridles. There were new and used English saddles, but only about 6 in total. Riding boots were also at the booth that sold the horse equipment. There were live chickens, quails, rabbits, and ducks. However, I was not fond of the way some were kept and how some looked. Crowded and stressed animals. Some of the on-site shops are permanent, including places for food. There are plenty of places to eat. We had one of the best bifanas on a fresh baked rustic bread. Can't remember the name of the shop we stopped at, but it's in the outer first aisle by the parking lot. There's a restaurant in the back, and they cook out front, and if you see smoke rolling like crazy that's the one you want to be at! You can also get chicken, and the bread for the sandwiches is baked right on site. I watched it coming out of the big corner oven. Yum!

You could get almost anything here. Clothes, food, animals, household good etc all available here. Also very good place to pick up plants for your garden or farm. Plenty of places serving food at very low prices.

One of the best and inexpensive places to eat have a reservation well in advance 😁

A great place for a freshly cooked breakfast roll at good prices. Also well priced for lunch. The range of products available outside of food is truly amazing. Only operates on Sunday

This market is amazing. They have several cafes to have refreshments as well as selling everything from vegetables, fruits to live stock and plants.

Good, getting expensive to be honest but still a good place to go get some quality clothes and shoes... Fruit and veg.... Better than lá vie or any shops in the area....

Love it, a lot of stuff cheaper than the inside city and vendors are very friendly. A lot of them speak English

Noisy and very very busy. The produce and fresh bread are top quality. You can even buy live chicken, ducks, rabbits, turkeys, etc. They sell piri chicken the original one than Nando's is inspired by.

Great variety of things to buy and food to eat

Always fun. One of my favorite avdentures! Whatever you want, they have it. It gets very crowded, só you must have a little patience. But it's worth it just tô "window shop."

We go every week for roast chicken and essentials. Great vegetables and fruits and I always buy bacon there
