Beira Rio

Wow....I really don't know what to say.....
During our vacation in Sintra Beira Rio was a discovery of moment and Is turn to be our first choice for dinners......durind the month of August 2022 we stopped by around 15 times, everything was very good, tasty the owner and all the employees had a fantastic interaction with us and all the clients. For those who appreciate the Portugues gastronomy this place is exactly what you need...Congratulations

It's close by to where we are staying. The food is delicious. The service is great. Totally worth the wait for that Sunday lunch. Recommend if you want to escape the crowded touristy places up the old town Sintra, although a little out of the way.

Amaaaaazing food and lovely service. The cod with potatoes and garlic was TO DIE FOR!! I much preferred it to the squid and prawn skewers which were good but nothing like the cod!
Lemon meringue pie was just one of the best too!

We stopped here for a three course meal and drinks as part of a tour. Delicious food and great value

A great restaurant with very tasty food. They also have a nice selection of cakes and savoury products in their cafe section. Closed Thursdays all day and closes early at 6pm on Wednesdays.. all other times they are open from 7am and the kitchen closes at 10pm but they remain open till 11pm. Sunday they open at 8am. Located in an area with great views of the Sintra castle and mountains. The staff are super friendly. Highly recommended!

What a gem! Everything was delicious but you absolutely have to have desserts!

Really couldn't say enough about our wonderful experience here. The food was excellent and very reasonable priced. The servers were attentive and more than accommodating. The inside was homey and cozy.

Simply amazing! You will not be disappointed. The portions are great for 2 persons. We had the the house bacalhau incredible and tasty and the steaks! Try the house wine too!
