Hotel Termas da Curia

We had a beautiful stay at this Pet-friendly hotel, they are allowing dogs over 23kg, which in Portugal is very good, most Hotels only accept over 15kg!
The hotel is nice with friendly staff, located inside a beautiful garden, where you can relax do some reading or walk with your dog.
We enjoyed the breakfast pretty good with different options even for vegetarians, mind that the dog is not allowed on the breakfast room!

Very good price/quality ratio, awesome garden and forest area for walking/jogging/enjoying. Pool is ok, breakfast normal for a 3 star hotel, rooms are quiet with big bathrooms. The glory days of the Termas can be imagined since the buildings are quite nice and in fairly good shape, gardens well kept, left the place feeling that a refurbishment could easily turn it into a 5 star hotel. Hope it's glory days can come again. As it is now, price/quality is very good nevertheless.

Relaxing location, great for sightseeing as a couple or with family. In dire need of some structural attention but complimented by a wide range of therapeutic massages with spring water's, which you can actually take with you. In case you wander by, take my advice, make an Vichy Shower appointment and ask for Rute Sampaio, with a gifted touch and the aid of some water pressure and oils, she'll take your senses for a 30 minutes voyage within the realms of Nirvana.

Having travel around the world and visited so many different places with luxury resorts/hotels gave me the experience to understand what makes the difference from a good to a excellent place.

Stars ratings aside since so often is misleading, Hotel das Termas in Curia is without doubts a must place to visit and stay while on holidays in Portugal.

Located in the center of Portugal is perfect for a stay while moving from the south to the north or vise versa.

Surrounded by a luxuriante garden with a lake and decoration loaded with a certain mysticism give to the visitors a sensation of isolation from the rest of the world and in peace with nature.

The staff have the best Portugal hospitality you can find in all country and the excellent clean levels of the Hotel, reaching pritine conditions in the rooms help the visitor feeling this sensation of full relaxation like at our own home and definitive reveals the commitment of the staff and management to provide the best Portugal can offer.

Love every minute there. Go for room 148 if you can ))
