Ocean4fun - Benagil Boat & Kayak Tours

We really enjoyed our kayaking trip to the caves this morning. All the Ocean4fun staff were great. Seeing the cliffs from the sea was amazing. Bernardo aka Ben was our guide. We have kayaked before, but I'd say no previous experience needed to enjoy the trip and little effort required. 2-man sea kayaks and the youngest on the boat was about 5y old. The area was very busy (as expected) but as it was low tide, it was not too crowded inside the cave. Definitely a better option to kayak rather seeing it from a boat only! 2.5h for boat ride there and back + kayaking. Fair price

Ben and the team were super friendly and informative with information about the coast, some of the history of the area, and helping everyone into their kayaks.

Note: As of early September, no kayaks are are allowed into the Benagil cave due to local laws. That being said, the boat was allowed into the mouth of the cave for a quick view. No fault of Ocean4fun…and still had a great time!

We tried today and the experience was really good. The captain and the tour guide they’re super cool, informative and fun. I will come back for sure for another experience. It’s good for a small group of 10 people I would say. We visited a couple grottos along the coast starting in Portimão.

Nice guide, nice trip by boat and kayak. We had enough time to visit all the caves. I recommend this compagny for a trip in Algarve water.

Glad I rented my kayak from ocean4fun. The staffs that work here are super friendly and nice. They even let me use the kayak before my scheduled time which was great! I only paid 16€ and had an amazing 1.5 hours out at the Benagil caves and Marinha beach. I didn't even need a guide. Marinha Beach is so worth it. Don't spend too much time at the Benagil cave. Make sure you spend some time at Marinha Beach. Highly recommend you book with ocean4fun.

Had a fantastic trip our guide spoke 3 languages a d was fantastic. Our captain took a nice slow cruise so we could all enjoy a good view.

Everyone was nice, 2 hour trip ending with jumping from the boat to water for a nice swim

Ben and the crew were great! Very attentive and caring guide that tried to keep everyone safe. First, you arrived near the cave by speedboat, and then you got to kayak or do standup paddling to inside the cave. A good duration of exercise, not too tiring and I enjoyed it so much! Thanks a lot guys!

Lovely tour guides very friendly and accommodated for many languages - the views along the way on the boat were part of the tour and the kayaking portion was great, beautiful views and caves and a great experience. It is worth noting that the kayaking part wasn’t as challenging as I would’ve hoped but it’s definitely family friendly

we did the kayaking tour of the algarve with bernardo and he was an absolute pleasure, so sweet and the best guide i’ve had. not too overbearing, let us enjoy and you could see he was enjoying it himself and going for dives as well so it felt really relaxed and fun. never kayaked before and can’t swim so he made us feel really safe!! thank you so much bernardo! :)

The polyglot staff was absolutely adorable, the kayaking experience is great!! Besides being beautiful, it’s easy to follow the guides with no big knowledge of kayaking :)

Friendly guide. We left exactly on time and came back exactly on time. Simple kayaks but enjoyable on the ocean. Good value for money, we visited 5 caves. Don’t only visit Bengali, see the others! And jump off the boat for a swim.

We rent SUP Paddles and Eduard was really nice and helpful in guiding us and giving us tips on how to enjoy the cave the best! The cave was beautiful, although there was not much lighting as we could only go in the evening, probably best in the morning. Nonetheless, great experience and great service!

We’ve done the benagil cave in kayak with ocean4fun. Everything was well done even if the sea was a bit wavy and water temperature of 15 C. Is was cool and we’ve done 2 hours of kayaking feeling safe and secure. Caves are amazing and crowded still.

The kayak tour was an amazing experience. Really recommend doing this activity, even for beginners. You start from the pier, do a short boat ride and then see all the caves (including Benagil cave) by kayak before getting back on the boat to return. Great value for money and friendly service. Perfect overall.
