Amazing place to learn to surf! Great coaches, super nice people all around. You won´t find a better spot!

We had a fantastic day of surfing in group and it was very useful for learning the discipline. I asked availability for 2 people the day before and they managed to find us a place. We thank Ramirez and Philip for being great teachers and people. Very good price with respect of all they do (3 hours of lessons, equipment, transport, sandwich)!!

We had such a great time surfing with Ramirez and Josue! We had 2 other classes on other beaches beforehand - but our class here really stood out since there was a top notch stretch warmup and our instructors gave very specific and helpful tips to improve our surfing. They also split up the class so that folks familiar with the land lesson can get into the water earlier.

Portimao beach also has great programming so if your family is not planning to surf - chances are there is something fun for them to do on the beach that day as well! Thanks for the awesome time!

Lovely private surfing lesson experience with Baltazar! He is a great man, very patient and we did manage to surf for a bit! we had a great time!
Gotta say the location is perfect, there is a storage room just next to the beach, we don’t have to carry the surfboard for long distance! Great job team!

Did a private lesson with Sam for 4 of us and was one of our best outings. He was attentive, fun, encouraging and overall it was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone. Waves were very easy for beginners :)

The teachers are really nice, welcoming, and take their time with you. I'm very excited about my first experience.

We had two great surf lessons with Rui! We booked a group lesson with my sister, but luckily no one else showed up so we got all of the attention from the teacher and space in the water to ourselves :) Rui was a wonderful teacher with a chill attitude! Me and my friends took a one day surf lessons trip and it was one of the best experiences here in Portugal. Bruno an Paulo were great instructors, they stayed with us all the time in the water to guild us and help us to ride waves. For me the surfing went pretty well since i have tried it once before but my friends needed lot of assistance to manage to ride waves and the instructors really put all their efforts to make a great surf day for us. I highly recommend them for surfing trips.

The 2 of us took a 3 day private surf course. Pedro was our instructor, flexible, patient, good explanations. We felt very safe and been taken care of as beginners but he also gave us some space to try out on our own, which gave us confidence. I would definitely recommend this school. Obrigado Pedro!

Truly unique experience. We arrived at a beach with the mini van and immediately the view was breathtaking.

We had a great time with this guys. The spot is great for beginners and advanced surfer (at the regular season). The beach ist amazing. No rocks in the water and a lot of fine sand. Special thanks to Bruno and Paulo ("Professor Wave"). You made a great job and we enjoyed it so much. Thank you Guys.

For our first surfing experience, we chose Portimao Surf Clube - west cost surfing lesson - and we do not regret. On the contrary, the reality exceeded our expectation. Firstly we expected a large group of "students", what a surprise we realised two of us were the only ones in a group! Bruno, our instructor, is very friendly and helpful. He dedicated the whole day to us. He pushed us to try to take off and actively helped to catch waves. The truth is that his words "paddle, paddle, do it, do it" came into my mind the day after when I was not even able to put my arms up: ).
On top of the surfing lesson, he even showed us the best restaurants in Alvor and offered an excursion nearby the surfing beach.
To sum up we spent a great day with a great instructor who gives you not only a surfing lesson but also make your day algarvian.

Ich habe vorab mich im Internet für eine Surf Schule informiert. Und diese in Hotelnähe gefunden. Ich habe ihnen eine Nachricht per WhatsApp geschrieben und sie haben mit umgehend geantwortet. Sie waren sehr nett und haben mir direkt alle Infos gegeben und alle meine Fragen beantwortet. Mir wurde der Rat gegeben an der West Küste zu surfen da dort mehr und größere Wellen sind. Ich habe drei Tage surfen an der Westküste gebucht und bin sehr zufrieden gewesen. Die Snacks von der Mutter vom Chef wahren mit das beste an dem Tag! Julita war meine Surf Lehrerin gewesen und macht ihren Job sehr gut und gewissenhaft! Am letzten Tag hatte ich Josue und er ist mit mir die größeren Wellen surfen gewesen. Er hat mir hilfreiche tipps gegeben um noch besser zu werden. Vielen Dank für die tolle Erfahrung! Weiter so! Nur zu empfehlen :)

V porovnání s mou předchozí zkušeností s jiným surfovacím kurzem (kdy jsem ani nebyl schopen se dostat na kolena), instruktor velmi dobře vysvětlil, jak se na prkno dostat a pokud možno i zůstat. Vlny na pláži byly super, kurz doporučuji.

Uma excelente experiência. Deixámos as pagaias do surf paddle em casa, o que poderia ter estragado as férias, mas a Maria da equipa do Portimão Surf Clube foi extremamente simpática. Arranjou forma de nos alugar a pagaia, algo que não faz parte do pacote habitual de aluguer. Esta simpatia e flexibilidade tornaram as férias muito mais agradáveis.

Mi primera experiencia en el surf. Fantásticos profesores, tanto Paolo como Bruno y seguro que Francisco también. Muy atentos, pacientes, honestos, motivadores, explicando todo muy bien. Me han motivado a seguir tomando clases de surf. Repetiré con ellos cuando vuelva a Portimão el próximo año. Paolo es súper guay :)
