We loved the place. Amazing sea food... I wish we could stay longer to try more of the menu. And we payed 70 Euro including a bottle of wine and beers.

This was a recommendation by our friend from Esposende. Go there if you want local dishes and seafood. Omfg he was right. The Arroz de marisco contains everything you dream of: clams, shrimp, prawn, crayfish, crab, barnacles, and much more. Great selection of regional wines. Delicious deserts. The arroz for 31€ would have been enough for three. So it was delicious, friendly and a good deal. Thank you friend for your recommendation.

The freshest seafood hands down! We had octopus for an appetizer and they way add the grilled flavor and seasoning just amazing. For our main course we had the squid kabobs which was delicious!! Best service out any place I’ve visited. I highly recommend eating here if you’re in town.

Sea food paradise with a light and fun service

Food:
- tasty, presentable and almost fully catered towards sea food (to be fair I wouldn't order anything else at this restaurant as the sea food is their speciality)
- be aware the portions are quite large. We couldn't finish the dishes

Drinks:
- comprehensive menu of drinks. We opted for a house Vino Verde which was nice and light and went very well with the sea food

Service:
- fun, entertaining and full of passion - the owner offered some home made liquor, was chatting with other guests - it truly felt like he was enjoying it and was doing this out of passion.

Fantastic service, and fantastic fresh food. We had bread, olives and king prawns to start, a seafood platter that was delicious, green wine, and sardines so fresh and tasty it was unreal. 10/10 definitely worth the trip.

If you want the serious Portuguese experience in probably the best restaurant for seafood in Portugal you don't need to look any further!
Try the "Arroz de marisco" or the grilled prawns, you will want to finish every last bit!

Very popular fish restaurant. Is usual to queue at busy times. Can be loud and chaotic for some tastes, but a very enjoyable experience nevertheless. The decor is a traditional fisherman hut. The product is very fresh, cooked in a grill. The seafood is excellent. One of the best octopus I ever tried too.

Excellent seafood in a unique fishermen setting in the little hamlet of Apulia. The arroz marisco is very generous with abundant fresh shellfish. A real deal.

On my way of Camino de Santiago, I have spontaneously visited this place, and how positively surprised I was! The interior was stunning, the service is so friendly like you've been their friend for many years, the food is perfect - and here I can't add anything. The place to be, if you are in the northern part of Portugal.

Portugal is an amazing country to have marisco and there are plenty of marisquerias all over the country. So what makes this place special?

The place is situated around 40kms away from the city of Porto, is always queued and has fantastic service.

The waiter doesn't ask you what you want, he recommends you what you should have. A very nice way to redirect someone to the specials. You are welcomed in this small, not so spacious yet lively restaurant with a serving of shrimps and a serving of bread and black olives.

We ordered the octopus with olive oil for starters and it was fantastic, comes in small plates topped with cilantro. We also ordered blood sausage.

I went a step ahead to ask for a piri piri sauce and the waiter made me try a spicy one. Just one drop, BLEW MY MIND! Arroz de marisco has ample portions of shrimps, crab, mussels. This dish is different than a Spanish paella 🥘 in terms of texture and the type of rice used. The former is more soupy and has more vivid flavors due to the fish broth and cilantro used. The green wine is the recommendation to go with it.

A place worth the drive away from the city, the courtesy of the staff is out of the world. They do not treat you as a foreigner but as someone they know for long time. Service is super fast and prices are not that expensive; all of this for €35 per person approx. Absolutely worth it!

Stopped here for dinner on our Camino hike. The restaurant was crowded but that is always a good sign. After sitting down the waiter was prompt with service. The fish was fresh and grilled to perfection. If you want a great meal, come to this place.

Arroz marisco is the way to go and the shrimp appetizers are delicious. The chefs are so good that you won't mind the douchey owner/server brothers walking around like roosters with elbows out, pretending to be little bodybuilders or something.

Amazing food, nice location, very nice service. And massive portions. A plate for one is enough for two people 😅
