Enjoy good coffee with traditional Fado music here. Very historical and beautiful cafe. They're so proud of themselves. The owner will tell you all the history from his mother. I just had coffee so I can't tell about food😊

Kind service, great food, and generous portions! I stopped here for a meal while doing the Camino Portugues in July of 2023.
Note: Pilgrims should be mindful to go to cafe-restaurante on Rua de Santa Leocádia, and avoid the Michelin star restaurant around the corner

Wonderful authentic Portuguese restaurant/cafe serving beautiful fresh food to the locals and the El Camino pilgrims. Good selection of drinks to be had including a beautiful white port wine. Lots of memorabilia and photos on the walls give this place a wonderful friendly feel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Enjoy..!

This is my 2nd time walking the Portuguese Central Camino and my 2nd time to stop at Restaurante Pedra Furada. The food is delicious and it's easy to see that the owner loves his restaurant and taking care of his customers.
He's a true jazz lover so the background music is terrific. Be sure to check out the jazz memorabilia and especially the incredible 1958 Harlem photograph that includes just about any jazz hero you can imagine!

Excelente food, warm atmosphere, great staff. Well worth the visit. The Rojões à Minhota is excelente. You need to order “Galo” in advance!

Antonio and his family are amazing hosts offering delicious meals and a warm, welcoming environment, whether in the more laid back section or fine dining á la carte. We enjoyed our Pilgrim’s meal and local wine verde. A must stop for pilgrims and anyone visiting the Barcelos area and needing a hearty meal! Celebrated their 75th anniversary last weekend! Parabèns Antonio!

What a friendly respite during our long Camino hiking day! This was a rare find of friendly greetings, nice variety on a menu you could hold and ponder, cozy atmosphere and needed facilities. We enjoyed ham and cheese omelettes while our friends had soup, sandwiches and coffees. Mostly I was impressed with the customer service and kindness. Other cafes leave you feeling confused and imposing upon the proprietor; not here!

Incredible authentic Portuguese food and lovely owners. Visiting the Porto region from Canada, the highlight of our visit was visiting Barcelos and Pedra Furada. The food was delicious, authentic Portuguese food in a beautiful setting in the countryside. Lovely people!
