Went there on a business trip and with recommendation from the locals. When entering I could sense the sympathy and desire to make things as pleasant as possible. We ordered the lamb with garlic sauce and herbs, I can tell that it was simply the best lamb I ever ate, everything on this dish was stunning, from the roasted potatoes to the meat, and even the green beans. We ended with cottage cheese and pumpkin jam, just delicious.

Good food and excellent value for the money.

We had spinach soup, grilled sea bass and desserts all for 7.5€/pax.

The staff is friendly and for all these reasons we'll definitely go back when in the area again.

Amazing place with very delicious meals. The guys that are working there are simply the best. Main course meals were all pretty good, the deserts - outstanding! Interrsting wines must be tasted - Adega de Borba, Duvalley or Quinta da Soalheira.
If you have the chance to visit this place, you must step by this lovely place!

We ate here a couple of weeks ago and it was one of the best meals in my life. We had cheese filled cod and I believe the garlic lamb.
While both meals were clearly perfected with experience, skill and love in terms of composition and preparation, what stood out most was the use of salt. I do like salty foods, but I never realized that this too is something that could be perfected to such a level with exciting contrasts and super thick pieces of potato that are salted just right in every spot.

Simple, home-cooked food, served with a friendly smile, excellent quality, and unbeatable price. We had a lovely evening, highly recommended for anyone wanting to try local food and wine, of exceptional value.
Don’t be surprised if the soup arrives unbidden, it’s wonderful, all-included, and you can always say no. Desert and coffee also included in the set menu (€10), and a carafe of house wine was only €1.50.

A good Portuguese restaurant with always a varied daily plate of the day at a good price. The service is friendly and fast, but they are busy at lunchtimes so go at 12. They do a massive take away trade too. This is our go to daily restaurant.
