Great rental car company. There were no problems when picking up or returning the car. The car was perfect. The only drawback is that the return of the deposit is not well communicated, so people have the feeling that they have been cheated for a few days, but everything is ok and everything is returned. The deposit was €73 + €100. Reduced deposit of €73 was returned immediately, and €100 in about 10 days. Just be patient. :)

No problem when booking, returning the car or getting the reimbursement. They were quick and nice all three times I had to call them. My evening flight was delayed and they offered to wait for me, for a fee, of course.

Surprisingly decent and cheap car rental.
Booked online through their page with premium coverage.
Picked up the car, with 75% fuel which was correctly noted in the documents.
I was immediately refunded the missing 25%.

The drop off happened at the same location and after quickly checking the car they refunded the rest of the fuel (even though I had slightly less than 75% in the tank).

I was told they'll return my deposit after 100 days, which happened minus the money for via Verde, which was correctly calculated.

So all in all everything went smoothly and without any problems.

By far the best car rental ever! They have a range of brand new cars offered at unbelievable prices! We rented a Ford Kuga ST line that was still smelling of new for only 30 euros a day! In addition, we added full insurance for peace of mind, which also was very competitive. Both check-in and check-out were super smooth and hassle free. They are located less than 1km from the airport and offer a shuttle service every 10 minutes. Simply don't get the bad reviews for tolls charges which are state road tax. I wish they were in every so I could only use them. 100% recommended!

It was the first time I have experienced such and amazing service from a car rental company. Centauro exceeded my expectation.
The pick up location was easy to find. The employees at the front desk were super friendly and I didn't have to wait to get assisted. They explained everything clearly.
No hidden fees.
The car was clean and pretty new. 4000 km only.
Returning the car was easy and fast. Then we waited maybe 5 min to get on the shuttle bus back to the airport.
I am very happy with this service. Thank you!

at Porto airport there were no signs where to wait for the trasport for the transfer, only after asking the drivers of other well-known companies did I get an answer. The waiting area was only 30 m from the airport exit. I received the car not as I had reserved, but it was new and of the same class (compact SUV + automatic gearbox)with full insurance. My friend was very unlucky, because he booked an SUV with Green Motion, but got a Fiat of another class. I am satisfied with the Centauro company and will book a car again next time.

Great experience. Slightly unsure on arrival where to get the transfer as there was no signage for Centauro but we soon figured it out. We used the premium package, this allowed us to be served first in the queue on arrival and took all the concern of any dents or scratches away, especially as we picked the car up in Porto and returned it to Faro. Car was really clean, almost like new. A deposit was taken to cover fuel and toll charges - the fuel deposit was returned straight away on return of a full tank, but the toll deposit took 1.5 weeks to return. I would definitely use Centauro again, service was efficient!

The lady that was assisting us with the both return and the pick up procedure - Julietta, was astonishingly kind, helpful, and I've never encountered such a professional and kind service during any of my many car rentals. Also she spoke English perfectly, and assisted us with all the queries with ease. Car was one of the best in it's category, it was very clean, and was nearly brand new. I'm extremely satisfied with the services provided. I highly recommend it.

I have been able to rent cars off this company from both Lisbon & Porto (Portugal). The service & quality has been top notch, needless to say the affordable prices they offer. Easy to book online and if you submit your documentation, you can use the Fast key service, so don't even need to go to the desk. Spotless clean cars, very good overall condition. Friendly staff, returning the car only takes a couple of minutes. My only criticism, is the shuttle: it stops just for a couple of minutes, always in different areas (the airport is busy) and you may miss it easily.

finally a company that appears to really get it. They looked after me well, the pick up and drop off was easy and the car was excellent. no hidden fees or scams like a lot of their competitors. returned the car earlier than planned as my work was done quicker that expected. Centauro refunded me the difference and all of the fees within hours o returning the vehicle, which was excellent and much better specification that I had booked. The staff were friendly, helpful and gave the impression they enjoyed their job and cared about the people. Well done Centauro, I will definitely use again.

Excellent service from Centauro. I have used them before and will certainly consider renting a car from them again. Top class service. Clean car. Last time the reserved car was stinking of cigarette smoke. They swapped it on the spot when I mentioned it, no questions asked. great location close to the airport and within walking distance from the few hotels close to the airport.
