Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport

Very modern airport with lots of bays, light, and every tuck amenity you can think of. The check-in is quick, the passport control is thorough and fast, and overall compared to dark dungeons you find the many countries this was a great highlight. By the way, a ton of restaurants for every taste.

This airport is small compare to others but has a very beautiful structures, high ceilings makes the place more open and bigger. Security checkpoint was pretty quick and people were nice. A lot of selections for stores and restaurant. There one lounge ANA the lounge is big but it looks plain. Need more vibrant colors and the food was cold.

Porto flights land at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO), often known simply as Porto Airport. Located 11km northwest of Porto city centre, the airport caters to some six million passengers a year. This makes it the second-busiest airport in Portugal after Lisbon's Portela Airport.

This airport has everything you need, and doesn't feel overwhelming or confronting. It has a big variety of shops, bars, amusements.

Plenty of chairs, quickly moved hrough security with really nice staff! Not a bad view through the windows, either.

Probably among the nicest airports of this size that I can recall.

Beautifully designed, spacious, generous with all its amenities and a tremendous choice of dining options. While perhaps a third of the size of Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport, it offers about twice the amount of dining options!

The airport is very efficient when it came to passport control and security. The airport was modern, clean and tidy throughout with excellent direct metro links to the city centre. As it is not that large an airport everything was easy in terms of transitioning through and I would fly here again

Not so big and hectic, luckily 😉. I love the view from the waiting "room" where are the gates. The shopping gallery is also nice.

Had an early morning flight, passed through security fast with no delays. The employees were nice and friendly.

Best organized airport ever with a heart for protection of our environment. Before you go to the security control where you have to leave your water outside, there is a place where you can pour off your bottles. This water will be used to water the plants in the airport. Such a little thing that would have had a great impact on saving water if all airports did this! After the security control you can reuse your empty bottle to refill it with clean water at a water fountain. If you don’t have an empty bottle there is an Automat where you can buy 0,5 liter water for 1 euro instead of 3 euro which is normal in other airports. All airports should be this fair and sustainable! ❤

Nice, modern, small airport. Good facilities. Plenty of dining and shopping. Very clean.

Spacious , clean and well maintained . Good communication connects to town.

Out of the 200+ airports I’ve visited in my life, this one is one of the best. Here’s why:

1) Check-In: It was a breeze, including security! Took me a while oral of 15 minutes!

2) Design: It’s stunning with lots of space!

3) Amenities: There’s bins to pour out water before security, kid play spaces, and vending machines with water. And free strong Wi-Fi.

The only thing to complain about is the bathrooms. A few stalls have flies buzzing around the toilet.

Great trip, nice customer service today. A nice gentleman on the checking desk number 15. What don't happen all a time. Travelled to Dublin at 2.40pm flight. Great stop at a lovely coffee shop for a nice snack. 😊

Large and very easy to get around.

The facilities in and around the airport are fantastic.
Excellent connections via metro to town centre Porto and Trinidade.
Very easy travel to the border Spain areas, via bus from the main door of this airport.
Inside you have plaint options of food, drinks and shops.
Get to Spain via bus from here only takes around 2 hours is cheap, easy and convenient and comfortable.

Cool airport: everything goes very quickly, the metro station is right at the airport - you can easily get to Porto. After passing through security, there is a drinking fountain - you can pour water into a bottle. Many shops.

Great airport, Easy to get around and queues move quickly. Train access straight into city centre takes about 35 minutes.
