Amarante Water Park

Very nice and clean aqua park. A lot of attractions. Also for adults 👩🏽.
Very clean toilets 🚽 and nice environment.

Great place located in a mountain by the river of douro not far away from porto town. Hence, it is possible going by bus and taxi to the park if you do not have an own vehicle. Great for all ages, the park gives you the opportunity of having almost 9 hours of fun per day. Better to book with time the tickets online.

My son celebrated his 10th birthday here. They had so much fun. Will definitely visit again.

Very nice water slides. Also there are other types of attractions. In order to refill the tank you can choose from a couple of snack bars.
The only improvement point in my opinion is the waiting time under the sun for most of the slides. The processing time could be shortened still without impacting one's security.
An advice, be there not later than 10 o'clock

Great place to spend a hot day! Not expensive at all and a great time would definitely recommend! Make sure to get tickets because it gets packed and they do turn people away once they have reached their limit!

loved it. lots of different pools to choose from, there even is an open air large cold water jacuzzi. water slides for all ages and some very fun radical slides, all well monitored. the downside is that you have lots of stairs to climb between the exit and entrance of the adult slides. food court is very organized, macdonalds style, with a variety of things to eat. there are smaller cabins with snacks around.large parking available too.

Great day out! Place is very clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rides are very well run and very safe for children. Facilities are very good. We hired parasol and beds. Great value for the whole day. My children had a ball. They are 9 and 10. They tried all the rides and had so much fun. Highly recommended

Really good, location and views are amazing. Kids loved all the rides and 4 year old loved the swimming pool. Beers and ice cream are reasonably priced. You need to get in early, around 10, for seats but towels on the ground are fine too.

Very great place to spend with the family or friends, the staff do their best to make the lines speed up.

Honestly, different from other water parks, the food there is not expensive and is for an affordable price with very decent quality.

Big territory, a lot of fun for kids. There are bars and cafes to eat. They charge for umbrellas and sun beds. A little expensive but anyway worth visiting.

Amazing waterpark, it is the first one that we visited in Portugal and it was a bit crounded, but it is normal based on the weather (almost 40 degrees).
Yellow slide queue is the biggest one and took about 35 to 40 min on queue (and it is not the best one), but in general, you can play on all of the slides in 2 to 3 hours.

Totally a must go for. A all day fun with slides and amazing pools for friends and family. Absolutely clean and well maintained. Health and safety is top rated and staff were on the ball . Bring your own food and drinks too as loads of space with wonderful views of the valley's.

I’m here on holiday visiting family. Went there for a day out and unfortunately sprained my ankle, all my fault lol. Hours later my ankle was in so much pain I could not walk on it. One of the workers (think she worked on the suncream stand) noticed I was struggling to walk back to the car, which was far away. She came over and asked what happened. I explained I hurt my self and she was honestly the nicest lady. She called a guy over who told us we could bring the car into the park so I wouldn’t have to walk, honestly, live savers! The first aid lady was also so helpful and nice. I felt safe and looked after. They didn’t need to go that extra mile, but they did! The park was also really nice fun! Good Value for Money! Will definitely be visiting again! Once again Thank you so much to the workers. AMAZING SERVICE!

Personally I think this is a great day out! Obviously it’s not perfect but what attraction like this is? Some of the other reviews here are really harsh. I don’t know what you would expect from a place like this! Of course they are going to charge you for lockers and overpriced food and try to sell you photos at the end! It’s how they make profits !Just bring your own food in a cool box like everyone else and leave valuables at home or in the car. Also something not mentioned is you can’t bring any alcohol (although I just admit the bag search is not thorough) Yes the park is crowded but I don’t think they allow the levels to get unsafe. They have adequate staffing levels and actually they are very friendly and polite. A great day for family and friends!
