The food was amazing. We went there to dine on a cold December day and right at the entrance we get greeted by a good old large fireplace warming us right away. All the atmosphere reminds us of ours grandfather’s house, warm and cozy. The staff is always there to help us. Although it may seem a bit pricey, the food is of good quality and the portions are enough. For sure you won’t leave feeling hungry.
A place to return for sure.

Recommended by the Michelin Guide, this restaurant is inserted into a beautiful and huge estate in the middle of the countryside.

The food is great and, like in most restaurants in the north of Portugal, the portions are huge.

The wine list is really good, the staff is super friendly and the service is actually fast for this kind of restaurant.

The parking is a bit... chaotic and anarchic.
And the GPS might trick you when leading you to the restaurant because on one of two roads that takes you there, you better have an SUV or a 4x4. Other wise... it's going to get bumpy.

Even so... definitely recommended and will come back, for sure.

Everything good, I just find that 18€ for the octopus starter is way to expensive.
Also the living room could have some background music :)

Great atmosphere in this old stone house. Very classy service, very nice staff. The food is also very good. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it. I recommend.

Had a great meal at this restaurant, not the easiest location, but food was very delicious (had "arroz sarrabulho").
I recommend if you're visiting Ponte de Lima.

We had a stunning lunch of monkfish rice and octopus vinigerette to share. Food was spot on delicious, well seasoned and honest. The wonderful ingredients sung for themselves. Location is not very easy to find but well worth it, the surrounding grounds and restaurant itself are beautiful.

Great traditional Portuguese food, and traditionally fish- and meat-heavy. That, however, they do very well, and even vegetarians get far better fare than your usual veggie-mash com arroz. It is all very elegant, and pricey, but it's worth it.

Didn’t have a chance to take pictures as we were so hungry, but food was fantastic! We had octopus and goat meet. Both was just super tasty. Mouthwatering and just amazing!

Best restaurant in Ponte de Lima... Easily. If you go to Ponte de Lima this is a must. I have friends that visit the town just for it.

For me, prohibitively expensive, discreet service, fine food and wine, off the beaten track, lovely grounds for strolling.
