Hotel Fonte Velha

We stayed there on one of their busiest nights and the service was excellent. The rooms were super clean and the face was on point we got to portugal and it was 110 degrees . The front desk was so helpful. Looking forward to our next visit.

The rooms are spacious, clean and well stocked. It's location is fantastic right by the River Limia and veryclose to the bridge. The outside garden is beautiful and inside, there is a nice bar area with a pool table (free to
use). It is great value for money and it is one of the best 3 start hotels we have stayed in. The staff are excellent and helpful + multilingual. To top that off, there is even
free car parking (outside) too.
This is a lovely hotel in a warm friendly town. Highly recommended!

A wonderful hotel, with wonderful people that are there to take care of you and help you with any query you might have. The location is great as well, near the river, with a nice garden and outside bar. Rooms are very spacious and clean, with a great bathroom.
Definitely hope to go back there.

Loved our stay here. Not only is the hotel super clean, it so beautiful and chic. Perfect for families. Highly recommend. We will be returning. It’s in prime location. Walking distance from everything. Great bakeries, restaurants, river which is perfect for a family fun day.

Wonderful hotel. The staff are very nice and allows us to store our bicycles in a secure place. But the highlight was the actual room - it was so comfortable and luxurious that we wished we could stay for longer!

Excellent rooms and setting, mine had a view of the river beach. I stayed here while exploring northern Portugal by ebike. My ebike was accomodated and I was able to charge it and store it at the hotel. The location is very close to the river and the bridge that gives the town its name and my attractive and modern room was quiet with excellent bedding, a comfortable mattress and a clean and well-appointed bathroom and shower. There was a good bar and restaurant space Seemed to me that this hotel should be classified above three stars.

Very well equipped hotel with great staff. The rooms are really nice and clean. The hotel has a beautiful garden with a huge terrace and is located right next to the Lima river, in which you can swim.

We can’t say enough about Fonte Velha. The serenity it offers, close to the river, walking paths, activities. The hotel is well thought out, modern, quite and elegant. Now regarding the staff, what can I say besides Thank you for turning our original plans of only staying 1 night into 3 nights!

Amazing place where everything looks brand new and high quality. It is very well located close to the river and in walking distance of the city center. Free parking included in what is a excelente price.

Fui em Janeiro e adorei. O sossego, o local do hotel mesmo ao pé do rio. Não tomei o pequeno almoço mas os senhores da recepção são simpáticos. O quarto e o próprio hotel estava limpos. Nada a apontar.

Localização, decoração, serviço, simpatia e disponibilidade do staff. Extra de uma sala de jogos muito convidativa.
Pequeno almoço irrepreensível.
Tudo em excelente preço. Parabéns

O quarto que nos foi disponibilizado é grande com uma vista magnífica para o rio.

Une très belle expérience. L'hôtel est en plein centre ville, il dispose d'un parking. Il est le long de la rivière, on peut faire une belle promenade. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien entretenues. Service accueillant et souriant.
