We didn't expect fancy but wow! The food was fantastic. My husband had the hamburger special. Excellent taste, and value for money.
Everyone speaks english but when I tried with my little Português they were all patient and helped me. Wonderful service, friendly and really just a super place. We will definitely be back!!

Great place to meet, very friendly. Lots of different people smiling and full of joy. Kind and friendly staff, great for the prato da dia and also snacks sandwiches quiche etc. Good value for money.. I arrived on a Sunday.

A must go. Great house steak with a mustard sauce. Nice river view.

Very good value traditional Portuguese food with great service. There is a lovely free campervan park there as well. Every other Friday they do the most delicious octopus! (See picture). Also there is a river beach in the summer on the other side of the road which is lovely too.

We parked our camper van in the parking area above & used the facilities in the restaurant.

Really cool swimming and BBQ spot. Amazing little water fall with a cool rope swing. Absolutely beautiful place full of nature.

Brilliant traditional Portuguese restaurant. Very friendly staff and huge meals. Good house wine. Be prepared for a good evening out!
