Nice little cafe for lunch. Decided to have the chicken salad and my wife had the special hotdog. Great service and the food was delicious. The prices were good for being on the walking street in town.

Conveniently located near where our bus would pick us up. Menu was promising and the food did not disappoint. Typical Braga rice with chicken and linguica was tasty, so was pork slice with mushroom sauce. Servings were large. Service was friendly. A good place in Braga to eat, relax.

They serve very good traditional food at reasonable prices. The restaurant has a great atmosphere.

Great place to eat and enjoy the view to the historic site. The prices are OK and the service friendly. The menu is available in different languages. The only thing that surprised me was the small amount of pastries they offered since they have "Confeitaria" in their name listed.

On a main thoroughfare, and correspondingly overrun by tourists, but still good-tasting food for good prices, and friendly service too. Congratulations!
They are rather thin on cakes and bakery stuff though, not sure why they call themselves ‘Confeitaria’. If you want a cake selection, better try another place.

We stopped by this place for a late lunch. I had the Arroz de Braga, a rice dish with chicken and sausage. My husband had the fried hake that came with french fries. Both meals were delicious, filling and reasonably priced. Good, friendly service as well.

Fish, pescada was very good. Quality price perfect. Service great. Wine not expensive..but good...

The place has a great location, it’s really easy to find it. I noticed it was completely full during lunch time, so I had to check it out. And it did not disappoint- here you can get excellent quality of the food for good price. The staff is also very friendly.

On our first night looking for somewhere with a vegetarian option and a gluten free option, we happened on Arco. Lovely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The vegetarian sausage was different but tasty and all came in double quick time. Amazingly low prices even with some wine and port which was great. We revisited on another night and it was the same value food and super service.

If you're looking for a fancy restaurant this is not the place, but if you want to eat with the locals a delicious and low cost meal then this is it. I highly recommend it.

3 great things - great meal, great wine and great dessert. I would definitely come here again. I especially recommend local meal bacalhao da Braga and Vinho Verde to drink.

The attendants were impeccable. The food was good for the price. I wouldn't go for the codfish again.

Ainda bem que me decidi por jantar aqui. O aspecto do restaurante pode não corresponder à excelente comida que aqui têm. Por ser estilo pastelaria e não ter mais ar de restaurante que algum dos vizinhos tem. Por isso, nunca julgue um livro pela capa, entre e prove os saborosos e apetecíveis pratos que aqui têm baseado na cozinha tradicional. Comida 5 estrelas e caseira. Um bacalhau à bracarense muito bom assim como o arroz à braga. As sobremesas todas caseiras, o pudim conventual é espectacular e a mousse também. Parabéns pelo vosso serviço.

Sitio perfecto para tomar un buen bacalao. Lo pedimos al estilo de Braga y nos encantó. El pudin también estaba muy bueno. Buenas cantidades y económico.

Excelentísimo!! Comida casera portuguésa y tb al estilo latino. Precios muy accesible por unos platos abundantes y riquísimos. Trato de los camareros muy alegres y cercanos...probamos de todos...desde el entrante sopa, el arroz portugués , el filete con arroz y huevo, los postres...recomiendo el de crema de limón ...fantástico. Buen lugar para comer. Platos contundentes y muy sabrosos. Servicio muy rápido y atento. El bacalao frito rico y muy tierno. La tortilla muy jugosa. El arroz muy sabroso y plato abundante. La francesiña no está mal, pero con demasiado grueso de pan. Salsa no muy picante y se agradece. La hamburguesa tiene buen tamaño. También probamos las ensaladas y las croquetas de bacalao. Un rincón para perderse y conocer la gastronomía típica de la ciudad de Braga.
