Atelier do Café

We came on a holiday. We were attracted by its cozy atmosphere when we passed it by to Magoito beach. We stopped for coffee on our way back. The pastries were very inviting and the service was superb. There is a magnificent sycamore tree in front of the entrance. Everything is just lovely.

It’s not often to find kind waiters, many of them of doing this job just to have a job, but our waiter which I unfortunately were not able to get the name was sooooo kind, attentive to details, like bringing 2 forks (one for me and one little one for my little boy), like bringing a spoon for my tonic water. He was often entertaining my little boy making him laugh by giving him high 5’s. You can see he has a passion for what he does and happy in life. I’m returning for sure and hope to be served by that friendly kind and welcoming face of our waiter 😍

The service here is fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. We don't speak much portuguese, but had no trouble getting suggestions and guidance.

The coffee was perfect and our food very tasty and fresh. Atmosphere is lively, local and full of charm. I would reccomend a visit.

We‘ve visited the cafe for a lunch in the afternoon and were very impressed about quality of food and the kindness and friendliness of the people there. As germans we‘ve got a lot of friendly help with the portuguese menu card 😅
My wife was told all about the sweets offered in the cafe… it was very funny with the mix from portuguese, english and german 😉😅
We‘ll come back next year 👍

Sat on the terrace, nice ambiance. The razor clam rice was excellent. Will definitely return.

This coffee shop has been for the last two months my let’s go back there place. I haven’t eaten anything I didn’t like and I am looking forward to the meals I haven’t tried yet. Add to it a very pleasant outdoor area shaded by a gigantic tree and really pleasant employees. Just magic..

Fresh and tasty

on your way from Sintra to Magoito Beach, it's worth to stop at this delicious pastry cafe... it's right at the V crossroad, with a nice terrace, overviewing everything passing by.
Plenty of parking space.

This is the place to have real authentic portuguese breakfast or lunch! Excellent sweets and coffee.
Try the sardines for lunch.
Very nice to sit outside, in the back inside they have seats for lunch.

The closest coffee from my house. I am already used to service guys and they treat customers as friends that are going there to take a coffee and hang out a little bit. Cosy place with outside relaxing places to relax. Great sweets and cakes. The food is also very well cooked and tasty. Also have newspapers, magazines and lottery games.

A restaurant with all kinds of pastries and cakes to eat, as well as food. A really nice outside seating area with beautiful atmosphere and kind staff. Recommended cafe to eat at.

A place where you can enjoy portuguese cuisine. Was missing portuguese food compared with north american food. Enough Macdonalds, Pizza hut and subway....
