A most unlikely restaurant in Entroncamento - eccentric and entertaining decor, truly awesome food, and a very quirky service made the meal very memorable (the owner, from what I understand is somewhat of a local celebrity/institution)

My veal steak was cooked to perfection, and the desserts are a cacophony of taste and visual delights

Notable is the exceptional wine menu

Highly recommended, and you are certainly advised to make a reservation

Service was slow, ask for more drinks and it took too long to get. Had to ask the owner for drinks which made the waiter bring them to me. It happened twice. Other than that...best steak ever.

Cozy space, a pleasant surprise, in a quiet place. Friendly and dedicated staff. Good service... and the food? No words... super tasty, well made and original. The desserts were also plenty and almost taken out of Masterchef. 👏🏼

Flor de Sal was a great surprise, from the moment we arrived we were greeted a promptly seated. Their personnel explained the dishes and made us some recommendations. We ordered the house wine a variety off chessboard and proceeded with the recommendation ordering the entrecut , that was made to perfection along with the side dishes. We also ordered the “Arroz con Leche “ a homemade dessert made to perfection in order to satisfy the most demanding palate.
I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family as the restaurant it’s a homage to the Portugal cuisine.
It’s a must visit restaurant.

Given that this place is located near a LIDL market in a rather residential district in a very unassuming small town, I did not expect anything special upon entering for a late lunch. Food, however, was outstanding. Fresh fish, sides composed with care, much attention to detail also in the presentation from the starters to the espresso that finished the lunch.
Prices more than fair. I am really rooting for this place to run well in the future despite its non-optimal location.

Beautiful from beginning til the end. Tasty fish, detailed decoration. Fine wine. Welcoming and charming hosts. Can warmly recommend, it only a few minutes from the high way!

I had a cheese entre, the chef surprise lacto-ovo-vegetarian dish, and shared two deserts with my wife, and everything was simply delicious.

Outstanding! We’ve just had a lovely lunch at this delightful restaurant. Super attentive staff, absolutely sublime food, and a wonderful atmosphere. A real cut above most, but without a silly additional price added. The starter platter looked really lovely, but knowing we were a little pushed for time (with a train to catch) we opted just for the local fresh cheese. Delicious. Then our steaks came …. oh my days! Cooked to perfection and with perfect sauces. It’s quite hard to find a really good succulent and tender steak in Portugal, but these were outstanding. My companion had fries, I had a salad. Even though we were full we couldn’t resist a dessert. My panacotta with berries was perfection (such a wobble!); my companion’s chocolate mouse with salted caramel was too sweet for his taste, but was clearly beautifully executed. The small carafe of house wine we had with our meal was also excellent. The bill came to 50€ for the two of us, and was worth every cent. We will
definitely be returning soon.

Certainly one of the best restaurants in Portugal, famous for their meats, my wife and I shared the veal / vitela and it was delicious. Ordered the house red and it was so good that we took one home. The desert menu is also very original and a very cosy & unique atmosphere.
