Always I'm in the Portugal I stopped in one unit the Mafraria, why? The pastel de nata (custard Portuguese pastry) sales here is the better option taste, the attendance always patience and smile for all the customers, and definitely have a good and lovely coffee for take incredible break or small time for enjoy the food there. For me this unit is special because taste like home every time I'm there.

Now here's a delight that I wasn't expecting. Found it when I was on a last-minute rush to find some pasteis de nata to take to my co-workers and now I need to stop there every single time because my colleagues won't admit any others.

Amazing pastries and variety of baked goods. Staff are extremely kind, helpful and always have a smile on the face. In barreiro I don't think you will find a better cafe/bakery in town.

The best pastel de nata in the world is here ;) It's my favourite at least. Prefer this one to the one in Belem. The problem with Mafraria is that it is small and it is often hard to find a free table. They have amazing cakes and bread. The service is very good as well, although you need to order at the counter.

Mafraria makes one of the best Portuguese custard tarts I have ever had the pleasure to eat. I could not recommend them enough, go try them out for yourself!
