We had a very enjoyable meal. 2 adults and 2 10yr old young ladies. the girls had Pizza, fresh orange juice and chocolate mousse for desert. They thoroughly enjoyed all of it.
My wife and I shared serveral small dishes.
Tomato salad, Octopus salad.
Fried Cuttle fish strips, Pica-pau & a pork mini snack.
All accompanied by a jug of house white wine.
ALL very good. Service very good. Very reasonably priced.
Overall, a very enjoyable meal and experience and we look forward to the next opportunity to eat there.

Very nice location in the garden of Odemira, friendly and helpful staff, comfy interior and super delicious food. Pricing is reasonable and the vanilla dessert was awesome (no picture because I was too fast).

I don't get the negative reviews. I've eaten here twice now and the owner is very accommodating and the steak (Portuguese style) is fabulous. In the U.S. it's a $40 steak! Comes out sizzling on a cast iron plate. See the pics. It is Alentejo so slow down and watch the grass grow!

If you like Chocolate and the Ambiente of the film "Chocolat", you have to come here an enjoy the delicious variety of all kinds of chocolate, even vegan ones!

Excellent service! Attention to detail. Food very tasty. We have several petiscos and the fresh mushroom pizza was delicious. Really recommend this place for easy tasty food!

We stumbled across this lovely little garden restaurant after a walk along the Rota Vicentina.

The owner was amazingly friendly, and was very happy to speak to us in English (embarrassingly our Portuguese is non-existent..) He also seemed to have a sixth sense as to when my glass of rosé needed topping up.

The food was fantastic. We had a two person stew of black pork, clams and prawns, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty...

The setting is also great- a nice shaded garden, away from any busy roads.

Excellent food. We had the fish Cataplana which was absolutely delicious, featuring a whole seabass cut into pieces plus loads of large prawns and clams. And the service was wonderful - thanks to Pedro.

One of the best meals I've had. Wonderful and warm service paired with extremely reasonable prices. We almost wanted to stay here another day (beautiful town) and come back to this wonderful restaurant. It really doesn't get much better than this!

One of the BEST restaurants in the whole Portugal. If it's pig meat you want they will give you the real deal. The garden in which the restaurant is located, is a botanical masterpiece and you have the opportunity of dining amidst fresh smelling herbs and colorful butterflies.
A hidden gem of Alentejo in a picturesq traditional village hidden away from the mass tourism and worth every cent.

Ambiance and service was excellent and the cataplana was very delicious! The cheese, olives and sausage starter was super delicious, but the way how they sell it is not ok. They bring it to the table without order and ask if you would like it. At that point a customer can't be sure about the price (13€) and could even think it's free of charge.

We had a wonderful dinner here. It sits in a pretty little park at the end of a street. The owners are really friendly and take great pride in the fine local produce, and their own menu. You will truly get the flavours of the Alentejo dining here. My Javali (black pork stew) was out of this world!!

Great food and great service. We've been here several times and we've never been disappointed. They even have a couple of vegan options.
